Would you be able to provide any kind of tutorial on how to do these beam effects? I'm looking to create a Warhammer 40k mod, and I'm unsure of how exactly to do the lasgun/lascannon effects.

Looking at some of these tank renders you've got, I'd say they could do with a lot more scuffing and dirtying, since currently they look a little too flat and clean.

If you want I could add some grit to them with Mudbox.

I don't exactly have the most free time in the world, but as a MoW fan and a fan of Warhammer 40k, I'd like to at least contribute something to this mod.

It's much more of a "hard" sci fi than Starcraft. We're aiming to keep most of the technology within the realm of plausibility (for example, our space ship designs are based off of actual theoretical design for such craft, most weapon systems, such as the SHIVA Star, are weapons that current militaries are actually researching, etc etc)

Not to say there won't be elements of the fantastical, but they won't be as saturated nearly as much as with Starcraft's setting.

Those are Chu-17's, the basic Soviet support VTOL.

The resemblance to SCII's Banshee can be seen, but I actually based it more off of the ORCA from Command & Conquer.

Yes, we will try to maximize the opportunities for combating the different playable races in all sorts of different situations, as well as the many other non-playable factions involved (which we will reveal in future updates)
