Any help with interface and visuals would be nice! If can get something done send me and I will put in the next update.

As for the skins, I don't think I will have much time to change any of the units right now, so I don't think it would be worth the effort.

When i load my custom missions in the skirmish menu the camera triggers doesnt seen to load like in the editor.

All the other triggers seen to be working fine. Anybody can help???

I am replacling the missions from the US skirmish campaign if that makes any difference.

I am using Men Of War: Assault Squad (NOT AS2) regular steam version.

Thanks for the feedback!

The textures are still very WIP, i put those there more to have an idea of what is metal and whats is wood.

As for the model, if you look at some reference pictures you will see that I forgot the buttplate at the end of the stock, so I will have to modify it for that and will take the chance to improve the smoothing.

Thats weird, i dont know why it worked before, since it didnt in my end, as far as I have checked back them.

i mentioned Men of War because the tutorial I used for trying to set the missions was for the original MoW, once I realized that I gave up thinking it would not work for Assault Squad.

However I dont think the mod works with MoW because of the vehicles.

Were you using the mod with MOW:Assault Squad or the original Men of War?

I have a feeling in the previous file location the mission would be playable trough the menu in the original Men of War, but not in Assault Squad.

Or, it might be due to some difference in the versions, anyway, I intend in fixing that for sure in future releases.

The location of the map and mission files was changed, but its stated on the changelog.

You should find them in mods/WarInTheLevant/resources/map/-Levant/-Maps or /-Missions.

I recomend deleting the previous version before using this one.

Note that still is only usable in the editor, I still need to figure out how to make the missions acessible trough the game menu.

Well you seen to have a very old version.
Best solution is to search for a patch online, get the lastest patch you can find. Its the 2.05.15 I believe.

The problem is that a file called 100mm_d10c is requesting a accuracy paramater called "accuracy/_veryhigh", and it cant find it anywhere, or its being overwritten by something else.

I checked the mod, and it doesnt alter the 100m_d10c file or accuracy parameters (only alter the ranges), and in the vanilla Men of War AS1 the 100m_d10c file has a "high_accuracy" parameter.

Deleting the 100mm_d10c may make the mod work, but there might be other issues.

I believe you trying to open the mod with the wrong game.
It will work with Men of War AS 1 only, no AS 2 or the orginal Men of War.

Either that or you have another mod active at same time and it is creating a incompatibility.

A new release will take time. I intend to finish the factions before starting to do missions and for this I need to model some weapons and equipment.
In the meantime I'm going to focus on other projects, like this one here, (https://www.moddb.com/mods/war-in-the-levant-the-syria-lebanon-campaign) , which already has pretty much everything I need to start doing some missions.

However it is possible that a version is released with new textures for the troops before March, but I can not promise anything.

I might try to redo the coloring, but fixing the leg pouches on the cubans would demand changing the models, and i dont have any modelling knowledge. But if i find a way to fix them i will someday.

Only the Castle Raid map has a mission so far, and it is at maps/single/1/castle_raid. The rest of the maps are at the maps/ folder.
In the current version you can only play it in the editor.

I need the Vz. 52, that i found on the game Point Blank, and the sa. 25. This one I found in the first Ghost Recon.
If you can do this kinda of port would speed things up a lot!
I will eventually learn how to it myself, but only when i get the time, and that will take a while...

Actually I rather do the campaign maps myself, since I have a very specific ideia for them.
But if you make some maps I will be happy to add them to the mod, as a bonus.

The thing I really might need some help is with weapons. I already found other games that have the guns I need, but i dont how to port them to MOW:AS. And if somebody does that for me will save a lot of time.

The missions will probably take a while. My classes started again so I wont have much free time as before. I think until the end of the year I will have at least mission made, or a more specific date for release.

I do this for a hobby, so I will do what I like. I am a "history nerd" so all my mods will propably cover obscure events, and you know why? Because nobody else is doing it, I do this primarly for me, and share it here so others can enjoy it too.

There are plenty of mods of WW2 already. There are plenty of modern mods already. Whats wrong with doing something different? Whats wrong with shedding some light on a minor conflict like this? If you want more WW2 mods there are a lot out there.
