oops, double post.
I could probably do that for you. Gotta check to see if I have all the files.
Only three developers on Verdun? :o Just wondering, but were any of you ever goldsrc or source engine modders? I guess I wouldn't be surprised if "The Trenches" or "WWI Source" mod team members went on to develop something like this.
Seems everyone's waiting out for v2.0 which should release sometime in the near future.
what about the G43? SVT-40? The Enfield could fit 2 stripper clips.
Are there any crosshair mods? The current default crosshair is just too large for me. I'd like to put in a small cross/plus sign crosshair
Will you guys push coding to allow the widest range of high and lower spec computers possible to be able to run it (as far as the engine can support, that is)?
One of the trailers uses a very cool grainy black and white filter during the movie. I'd love to see something like that added into paranoia itself. The game just feels like it would be perfect to play that way.
I haven't played in a while, but I'm going to have one extra reason to be glad I donated a little while before 4.0 came out.
That little guy looks like a lot of fun to have around.
Where do you get off thinking you have the right to mock someone like that?
Oh jeez, screw that maddieman for trying to give us a mod to enjoy. What a jerk! How dare he try to entertain us...
Seriously, learn not to take everything for granted and actually appreciate things that people do, regardless of whether you benefit from it or not. In this case, you surely would benefit from a guy choosing to create a video game mod, so you should be pretty pleased.
And the longer a game takes to get released, usually the better. There's nothing worse than a company giving in to a deadline and putting out something that just isn't fun to play. In this case, you don't have a huge team of people, so be patient.
And maybe, if you're not pleased with this modder, you can take a big EPIC walk out the door and go bother some other people.
Good evening and good night.
That's very good to hear. As someone who's played TF 1.5 / TFC, FF and TF2, I like to see people dedicated to making a good TF game that will keep many different fans happy, especially us TFC fans ^^.
Metroid for the NES came out long before Half-Life
Whether the mod turns out to be a fun and unique experience or not, the music is just incredible. I'd love to get the final OST on this one.
It somewhat reminds me of how K.A. Applegate described her view of androids in the Animorphs children's book series.
I really like the design of the feet and the neck. Well, I really enjoy the whole thing...
nice cyberpunk feel to that. :D I really like that piece.
Seriously, who wouldn't want to play the whole game in grayscale like this? It looks so freaky.
This might be an odd thing to say. I would love the ability to wash out all the textures into "black and white", such as in the official trailer. Watching the "black and white" version of the trailer made me want to play the whole game in grayscale.
It certainly does look really eerie in grayscale. :)
I really loved this game. I would be extremely excited if the team decided to make a sequel to it. The same basic feel with whatever additions the team chose and a longer, more in-depth story would make my perfect paranoia game. :D
The OST was really good. Slot is a great band and the score pieces are really nice. :)
I can't wait for 4.0. :D Oh god that electric crowbar is so sexy. I can't wait for it. :D
I wanna start reviving dead npcs and players. :D
Exactly. Also, at the moment there isn't a Sven Coop Source. I believe that is the intention at one point, but right now some of us are enjoying SC goodness in HL1. SC 4.0 is going to be fun.
As with synergy, I played it when it was fairly new. I wasn't incredibly pleased but it wasn't bad.
Like SC, this mod will include a lot of different community SP stories which will be fun and the addition of the store will be very cool. If I could use CS:S weapons, TF2, DoD:S, etc. that would be fun. I'm not a big fan of either of those games but it would be fun to use the weapons in Follow Freeman.
Graphics kiddies like "sutsko" and "General_Atrox" really annoy me. I'd like to get a new computer to play a lot of newer games, but it's mainly to enjoy the gameplay, sound and replayability of titles.
I mean, there are certain games I won't play because of graphics, but that's more like pre-HL1 graphics that I don't tend to like (unless we're talking about the classics like Doom, Duke Nukem, etc.)
Nuka5, trying to be like the "Team Fortress" 2 game would make it really lame. I mean, I enjoy TF2, but to me it's not Team Fortress. FF does good justice as an alternative to TFC, which I still love playing.
