For me the damn things are just too complex :/ . I would like to get into mapping a bit but the level editors nowadays are absolute nightmares! :eek: I took one look at hammer (bashed away at it for a few days) and just about landed in an asylem :crazy: .. it's a shocker! And the damn tutorials are no help as most of them assume A) You have knoledge of how to use Hammer and/or B) You have prior mapping knoledge.:confused:

Been a huge fan of this mod since I first started to get it working properly. And I tell ya, it's nothing like ANYTHING else you've played before (proberbly). Everyone, the players, the Dev team, the rabid forum fan base, are all masivly keyed up about the release of beta 2 sometime in the next few weeks (or so hear, I'm only a rabid forum based fan after all lolz) and it is looking to bring Hidden: Source to a whole new level.

Definatly a fun mod.. when I can get it to work that is.... so often when I go to play I get a memory error (have 1Gig FYI) and it crashes whenever I try to join a server.. sure hope that gets fixed in beta 2!!

LOL, always loved the worms games. Worms + HL2 engin is just gold.. BTW I saw the previos couple of posts and I may be ble to help there as well, if you're interested in some wacky, zany and just downright of the wall weapons i could tell you some of the ones from my favoret UT mod U4ET(Unreal 4Ever Tournomant).. man.. a Worm with a QSG gun, I can just see it now. Muwhaahaahhahahaahaaaaa

Well said mate.. It's what I've been saying for a long time. Been playing video games since Might & Magic 3 came out on the Amiga, was messing around with them before that.. now considering that I'm 21 now it is most definatly safe to assume that I've been playing video games for just about most, if not all of my life, and if you where to listen to some of these people then I would be a raving lunatic with a life inprisonment sentace for a killing spree with several automatic assult rifles.

I agree most definatly that the responsibility lies largly with the parents, not to moniter everything they do, not to censor them from anything 'bad' untill they are 'old enough to handle it' (in which case they will never BE old enough to handle it as they have never HAD to handle it), but to make sure that the child has a firm understanding of the diferance between the real world and the fantasy world of games, movies, TV shows & books. Something that far too many parents nowadays are just far too lazy to do.

Don't get me wrong, I'm in no way dissing what you have done up to this point, so far it has been very good, if somewhat crude.

I fully realise that this is still a mod in early stages, but I think the three bigest things you need to look at over the next release or two are veriaty (esp more maps), balance (have a bad run for a few rounds and you are in BIG trouble.. basicly totaly screwed baring a mirical), and last, but most certainly NOT least is net-code. The current release is slow AND laggy. I'm on 512k ADSL and even on a reasonably quick server I'm lagging all the time, makes things much harder then they should be.

If you can get on top of those in the next release or two then you'll realy have something going here!

mainly GUI (Graphics User Interface) maods, that have to be re-installed every path (which is why I don't use one)

What version is that Qwertyz? I downloaded about 2-3 days ago, sounded very cool.. no servers. at all.

Useualy play through once on easy to learn the game, once I'v done that I go to at least meduim, sometimes hard... however most RTSs I never get of the easiest seting.. I like em.. but I suck :flame:

WOW!! Vegetto (One of my fave DBZ characters BTW) looks awsome. Huge fan of DBZ and this looks likt the best DBZ mod to date. Was that a Kamayamaha wave Vegetto was powering up in the wallpaper?

Sweet!! I'm a huge fan of fighting games but haveing only PC the ones available are few and far between (hell there basicly haven't been any since about Motal Combat 2 or something), I'll definetly keep my eye on THIS!!
