I would like a free option to switch between the two, I can only speak for myself but I think most players would agree. That way it can be suited to their play style, like Elder Scrolls, Fallout, or DayZ (and a plethora of other games).

I solved this issue by re-naming the EXE and making sure it matches the file path. Making sure the EXE is spelled correctly (with the space), and making sure the data folder matches as well.
It's been since late November that I've been unable to play, everytime I try to launch I get an invalid EXE error. I've uninstalled, re-installed, un-installed and re-installed Desura, verified the files and nothing seems to work. I now have 0.5.0 downloaded, and same thing. Every time an update comes out I get the same error.
Same place as you man; haven't played the game since 0.4.0.
Where is 0.4.1? It's supposed to have been out for a week yet I can't download it?
Any help with getting Multiplayer up and running? Cannot get it to work.
I checked the Twitter, but even if I start a server and have my friend try to join there is no luck. Same thing if he creates a server and I try to join. I have only ever read "Server full or bad address" when attempting to join an existing server or one recently created (with only the host in it)
This is one of the most interesting and addicting games I've played in a while. Great work.
I cannot manage to connect to any server (neither can my friends), have a friend connect to mine, nor have I found much instruction on the matter. I've followed the in game instructions but no luck. Is this a bug for everyone or just me?
Any help would be appreciated. And again, fantastic work.
I'm liking the new features, you guys are right on track and each update has made the game more enjoyable.
Some suggestions:
- Bleeding should either happen at random chance or bleed at a slower rate. It makes the gameplay more frustrating than difficult (if that is what you were going for though, you did a good job of it)
- Food and Drink meters should drain slower as well. Eating food and drinking water every few minutes is excessive.
- When piloting the ship you are able to be killed quite easily if flying low over enemies. If your ship collides with an enemy you stop as if hitting a wall and they are able to kill you. Perhaps there could either be an ability to kill enemies by hitting them with your ship, knocking them back, or possibly a gun on the ship (with limited ammunition) to clear a hostile area before landing.
PEOPLE. IT'S AN ALPHA. GO AHEAD AND LOOK LIKE A MORON COMPLAINING ABOUT A $2.49 GAME. IF YOU ARE UPSET AT LOSING $2.49, YOU SHOULDN'T BE SPENDING THE MONEY ON SOMETHING WASTEFUL LIKE A COMPUTER GAME ANYWAY.
EARLY ACCESS DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU ANYTHING EXCEPT EARLY ACCESS. I HAVE ALPHA'S/BETA'S/EARLY ACCESS GAMES THAT YOU COULD ONLY STAND IN ONE PLACE AND SPIN AROUND. WHY? BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE THE GAME HAS PROGRESSED TOO.
DON'T BE UPSET AT THE DEVELOPERS BECAUSE YOU WANTED A SHINY NEW GAME TO PLAY AND MADE AN IMPULSE BUY OVERLOOKING THE FACT THAT BECAUSE IT IS AN EARLY ACCESS, YOU MAY VERY WELL NOT BE PLAYING THE GAME UNTIL RELEASE.
*end rant*
Early Access doesn't give you access to a completed product just waiting to be put on shelves or sold online, you are basically being offered a cheap pre-order with the bonus of being able to see and perhaps be part of the progress of the game.
$3???
I spend more money on coffee everyday on my way to work! You people are ridiculous and need to prioritize!
I have contacted the dev's and received a response within due time. Just be patient and they will will get around around to you.
I am having some trouble getting multiplayer to function properly, and there is nothing to address it in the manual. Is there any way we can get some instruction on it or maybe a server browser or more intuitive way to connect with fellow Pixellers. At your recent discount price I bought a couple copies to share with my friends and we're hoping to explore the Pixelverse together :P
