Don't know if anyone else is running into this, but physical weapons (torpedoes, missles, etc.) don't bypass shielding. Also noticed X-Wing's torpedoes tend to have some rather flukey flight patterns. Aside from that, the update is awesome so far. Can't wait to delve even further.

I actually had an imperial specialist start firing on one of my T2-B tanks in 1.3 a few weeks ago. Had never happened before and never happened again; I just figured it was a fluke.

I think I asked this before, but will Eoth have access to a wider selection of turrets for the build pads in 2.0? All they had before was the Repair Pad and sensor node. It just limited their ability to effectively defend a planet before, especially against aerial attacks (a.k.a. bombing runs) since they had absolutely no anti-aircraft capability before, although I'd guess that will be mitigated to an extent with the addition of their new air unit. Also, I'm assuming the Pentaster Alignment will have access to the same turrets as the Remnant.

Yup, definitely different. I had never actually seen a picture of the Heavy Tracker before outside of this mod, then I saw both the Fortress and Tracker on wookiepedia and realized it was just a coincidence.

I was curious if there were any plans to look over the behavior for Eoth ground units while they move as a group. Tanks and walkers for the NR and Remnant still move in formation fine, which I assume is just a part of the code that was carried over from the original game. Eoth units seem to have a hard time navigating the playing space though when moving as a group, and don't form the coherent formations that NR and Remnant ground forces do, which makes them difficult to manuever en-masse.

If anything, I have had the opposite problem. After take out Isard (same tactic), the Imperial leaders just start throwing themselves at me. Its sad; I almost can't kill them off quickly enough. The only one who presents a challenge after Isard is Palpatine, and you just have to wait til he lands on a planet to do away with him. All this means for me though is that the AI remain aggressive throughout, never had a problem with them ceasing hostilities.

As the NR, I'd usually just lure SSD's to a planet on which I had an Ion cannon. I'd bring in the Falcon first and wipe all of the fighters, then nail it with the cannon. After that just bring in your fleet right behind it (blind spot for the SDD's guns) and just hammer it to death.

The Viscount-class Star Defender which the NR will now have in some GC's was Ackbar's brainchild and was specifically designed to combat the looming threat of SSD's.

yeah, having the same problem. ran into the same thing when battling Eoth defenses. they had a whole turbolaser network that was completely shut down even though the generator was fine
