You need about a year to make a game with a team of ten people. And you need about ten years if you work alone. It is the cause of all these delays.

The mod is not dead, I am working on it. I don't want to show any spoilers until I finish the demo.

Maybe. There are two problems. First, I am one-task person, so it is very hard to switch between workflows for me. I have done a lot of mod-stuff at my winter vacation, but I am busy with my physics-stuff now. I need another vacation or two to finish demo-release. But I do not know when I can find time for them.
And the second problem, I am not sure that we still have all this time. All our money can lose value in a moment, all our lifes cost _nothing_ in the (geo)political games. Our regime almost transformed into theocracy+fascism hybrid, and big war is near. People like XaeroX and other so called "russians" enjoy it, but I am afraid.
Anyway, I can not guarantee anything now. It is time for the great uncertainty. Our President has become the ancient greek g-d like being, who wants to be the g-d of Israel. The laws of jurisprudence have overcome the laws of physics. It is impossible to make any predictions in this situation.
No, I am working on a beta/demo release now.
Do you have any plans for xash3d?
I think it is better to change this texture to the something less tiled.
It is always the same mystery — how deep these damn bottomless pits are!?
monster: "butcher"
class: "bad ***"
This Uncle Mike... He always leading us by the nose. Well, I got it now, false alert. I'll unarchive this page after beta-release.

Heh, I got them by "brute force" -- just jumped from the upper shelves (and lose most of hp).
Sorry guys and gals, I think I have to stop it. As it happens, the new windows-only closed-source concept of the xash-engine is incompatible with the idea of my game. I was thinking about FWGS-builds (based on older gpl-versions), but it will be too hard to use them, I guess. There are so much new features with I used, and I think there is no possibility that someone can reproduce them. It is too hard, time consuming and unprofitable job. However, I have no motivation to make windows-only game. Maybe I will publish something like cutted beta-version in this year, but I am not shure about it. It is all about fun and motivation, I have no both now.
There is bug with this door: Pix.academ.info. When it open and close after timeout, it will never open again, so player can be stuck into the corridor. I think that timeout for rotating doors is a bad idea, it is better to make them usable.
However, I like this mod. The level design is brilliant.
Old school. It reminds me the first level of the Blue Shift.
Anyway, it is better to use light-textures except point light sources. Also, I suggest you to add some trims near the ceiling, 45-degree bevel, maybe.
Of course rocks, roads, lakes and other stuff will be added. It was just a concept-map to check new xash possibilities.
It is botanical garden for recreation and for some biological research. It is separated zone beside living quarters.
You have to make cliffs less blocky. Try to use complex shaped rock-brushes, do not afraid to overlap them. Also I recommend to try JACK (formerly JackHammer) in which there are built-in rock-primitives.
Yes. All areas will be accessible, all doors will be openable.
Sadly, it takes a lot of time when you work alone and in free time.
Now I am compiling all my separated concepts into final maps with quests and stuff.
