Hiya, I play video games and stuff. I do some things by the side like reading. I'm trying to get into more things I wanna try right now, so yup!
I'm trying to figure out right now how to fix it internally without having to resort to a dummy .big file for everything
In case I can't find a workaround to have it work, I'll just have to release a usable WB kit with the next release
Yep, they did
The first one is on the AI's end, I'll see about that being fixable. For the second one, I'll take note. Thanks!
Due to my university schedule, there's no actual release date for now
We'll see about that (and assuming we don't run out of commandset slots lol)
Thank you for the feedback! Yes I am also planning to update the Patriot's model in the near future.
Yes this is an issue as of the moment.
I'll release a workaround for it in the future, but for now, you can't really use WB with this unfortunately.
That one's just a S/L issue as far as I know.
Someone else experienced this but upon reloading the Save file it got resolved. Is it any different for you?
Thank you so much for reporting this, I overlooked it (I actually removed this crash in other missions, seems I forgot to do it for this one).
The game isn't too friendly with modifying some parameters via map.ini unfortunately.
I'll make a patch for it, though I'll see first if other issues get reported!
Hello! Thanks for the feedback.
The next version will actually include a real air unit for the GLA, I'll just need to oversee how I can make it accessible.
It won't work in ZH, sorry
it only looks like ZH since I ported some Zero Hour elements back to VGen
No plans a GLA Airforce for now
for GLA, nope, they just get another artillery unit
for China, no new jets, just the Vermilion
just vanilla C&C Generals yes
That's exactly what it's for!
What faction were you playing? And did you build any certain unit at the time of the crash?
It did take a bit of magic to make it work this way
sorry, I forgot I wasn't logged in when I typed that :P
Vanilla Generals doesn't even have Challenge mode to begin with :P
This isn't Zero Hour
it's been two years yet I still don't know what these comments meant :P
And they're here to stay :P
There isn't actually, it's just that you're kind of going back in time and using an older version of the engine (and it comes with things such as having less modules, only having 12 button slots, only 5 GP shortcut buttons, etc.)
Having less modules would be the biggest challenge/difference and it does force you to get creative with things since you won't exactly be able to implement something like you would in Zero Hour.
I can just hear the SCUD Launcher yelling "UP UP UP!"
Awesome work man!
That's actually got me thinking. Hahah.
Updates yes, release I can't really say for now
It means you didn't install the expanded UI correctly
Mostly for archiving
