Nothing interesting to say really :D Massive fan of Command & Conquer (except number 4 in the Tiberium saga), especially the amazing mods available for C&C 3 TW which make it feel the way the game was meant to be in the first place! Also a massive fan of Sonic & Pokemon!

Would you happen to anything about this issue I have encountered? It has been going on for a few months now. I cant play this mod anymore. I have it installed correctly but when I launch it, on the main menu its just the vanilla TW logo, not the modded one so that caught my eye immediately. I then go into skirmish to set up a game and the AI personality section is completely greyed out, ant change between balanced, random, turtle, etc. I set the other stuff up and initiate the skirmish and the game crashes. I wasn't having this issue before i switched from EA to Steam. My other mod for this game is running perfectly fine. Someone suggested I change my profile which I have tried and still no difference. Also uninstalled both the game and the mod and reinstalled both, still no difference. I miss this mod so much, is there anything you can think of that might fix this?

There is an issue with this mod that has been ongoing for over a month now, I cant figure it out. All other mods I launch through steam work for this game without issue. However only this mod has an issue where I launch it and go into the skirmish screen and notice that the column for changing AI behaviour is greyed out. I thought 'weird but fine', I then go to launch a game and it crashes.

So I just recently moved from ea to steam cos screw ea, but I can’t get this mod working on there. I have uninstalled the mod and the game several times and reinstalled and nothing changes. What’s happening is I’ll load up the mod, then when I go into skirmish firstly it won’t let me choose ai behaviour, it’s just greyed out, then when I try to start a game it crashes. This is the only mod that’s happening with.

Does anyone happen to know how to get tib wars mods to run now that origin is gone? I come back to find origin is no more and bibbers fixed mod launchers are just not working anymore. Now I can only play the base game which I do not enjoy.

Thank you so much as always for this awesome mod! Definitely my fav for this game!

In terms of suggestions, would it be possible to look into an upgrade for the Nod Shredder Turrets? Compared to the GDI Watchtower which gets AP Ammo they feel very ineffective.

Yea I have the latest one installed. Was replaying through the campaigns and I noticed it most in Cairo and Sarajevo for GDI. The base defences don’t detect shadows or the commando until they are literally right beside them which, in the case of the commando is a quite too late.

It also still feels weird having venoms, raiders and apcs not able to shoot aircraft.

Not sure if it has been brought up already but the Harvesters' pathfinding is all messed up. Instead of going for the nearest one they keep on wandering off into enemy bases.

Yea I sometimes play the Shock Therapy mod and that has an added ticky box thing to Limit Superweapons. That would be awesome, what I'v always wished for was a way to remove/disable Protocol Powers, just have a good ol' fashioned unit war without any stupid timebombs or final squadrons constantly wrecking the place

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but the Harvesters for all factions have, ever since 1.6, been wondering off to tiberium fields way off on the other end of the map instead of the one that is closest to them, which isn't just a pain for micro management but also significantly impedes the AI as it obviously does not correct this.

Apart from that, still loving this mod! I dont get the opportunity to get on very often anymore, I used to be able to play and jump on this forum everyday but life is rather unforgiving. The few instances I can get on to play TE, it still astounds me! Long may this mod continue!

Finally! I return! I am done with University until September so its time to play more Tiberium Essence!!!

This is by far my favourite mod for the game and I actually cant play the game without it now I love it that much! There is however one problem that has been sticking in my gut since 1.6: AI controlled harvesters.

Ever since version 1.6, he AI has started sending all of its harvesters right into my base which completely neuters their economy way too early on thus making it unbelievably easy. I was hoping this issue could maybe be looked at and addressed because it makes Skirmish rather boring.

Would someone be able to help me with a problem? After playing for about 20 minutes, all of my Support Powers as well as the main menu turn completely pink and then game crashes soon after. I then get an error saying something about a DirectX error. Is there a way to fix this without uninstalling then reinstalling the entire game because if I am required to uninstall the game then I can't play at all as I lost the access key a while ago. Thanks in advance.

Gladly! Have never got to do a lot of multiplayer. I started this game not long after EA took the servers down I believe.

I am not the best player to say the least but hopefully I can at least give you a run for your money ;)

Ah ok I see. If I can figure out how to get onto tunngle I'm more than happy to help in any way I can when possible. I remember I helped someone a couple years ago test some of their maps by facing against them on those maps so if this is along the same lines then I'm all for it.

XD this is why I am useless; it all sounds so confusing. I wouldn't know where to start. I could download this OS BIG Editor you mentioned but I have no idea how to use any of the tools. I'l download it if I can find it and see what its like but chances are I won't be able to change anything.

Also what is tunngle? I'll be glad to help whatever it is if possible but my time is very limited as I am currently doing a University course.

I can't do that stuff. I remember I tried making a map myself but when I played it the AI had no clue what it was doing so I must have done something wrong. If it was possible to alter the maps that are in the game already then I might be able to do that. I just wish I could have really long all out skirmishes that didn't grow quiet so quickly because of Tiberium over-harvesting.

And yeah origin stuff is sorted, no problems there. Surprised you haven't seen GDI use jet pack troopers. They spam them all the time for me.

If there are maps out there that have things like really fast Tiberium growth then that would be amazing. There is one called Orbital Station from a Predator Pack I play on where the blue Tiberium regents instantly

When the Forgotten become a playable faction in Tiberium Essence, will the AI be able to use it as well? Just curious because I used to play a lot of the Crossfire Mod (before I discovered TE) and there was a fourth faction in that but the AI never did anything with it. It would just be its Construction Yard and that's it. If not that's fine, just like the idea of fighting the Forgotten as well as playing as them.

Also on the AI, two things I would like to bring attention to: at the moment Harvesters seem to be getting confused, driving off to very far away deposits rather than those closest to them. Also, the GDI AI freaking LOVES those Jetpack Troopers XD Was fighting GDI on Hard AI and it had like 50 of them!

Hi Carnius and everyone else, been away for a little while and come back to some great news! Finally had some time to myself to enjoy this mod. Look forward to the rise of the Forgotten!!!

If I may make a friendly suggestion, would an increase in the rate at which Tiberium regenerates be possible? I feel like the growth rate is slower than in the base games and the other mod I play sometimes.
