Then you'd get a classic case of the phrase 'give a man an inch, and he'll take a yard.' People wouldn't be happy with just the one demo - if he released one now, people would expect one every other month with all the new stuff he's added. And if there wasn't enough visible new content to please them, they'd be on here complaining.

Right, couple of points:

1) This Mod is worked on by Dec, and Dec alone. Not a team, just Dec, who is currently working on several different projects.

2) One of these projects is for a University module - more important than Mortewood or 1187 DLC, wouldn't you say?

Cut him some slack. The Uni project will be over in a couple of weeks, then after he has a bit of a rest, i'm sure he'll probably pick Mortewood up again. Calm down, have a little patience, and stop with the OMG HE SHOULD BE WORKING ON THIS NOT LET IT DIE GOD nerdrage stuff. The finished product will be worth the wait.

Except he's showing no signs of it dying - regular updates, replying to pretty much all comments on here, live streaming his work now and again so people can see its full current state? Yep. Don't ever see this getting finished.

He didn't make a new skateboard, he just made new textures for the already created skateboard like he did with the guitar. That's cool in my opinion, could get boring looking at the same one all the time couldn't it?

Dec will release a demo when he's good and ready. If you want a perfect example of why he doesn't want to release it take a look at Dead before Dawn - looked excellent, everyone was dying to play it, and then as soon as it was released everybody hated it and turned on it. Dec doesn't want this to happen to Mortewood. Just be patient.

Nailgun is already in game, was one of the earlier weapons added. Not sure about the sticking zombies to walls part though.

You seem to forget the UPCOMING, meaning not yet released, category. Ofc it can win!

Wrong, its only been in development for 1 year 2 months. Started in October last year.

It is in the FAQ as far as I know. But it will take ANY Source Game pretty much. Only source game I have is Counter Strike: Source and I can run it, hope that helps.

I think he worded number 1 a bit badly, I think what he actually means is a military tank with limited fuel :P

Not quite sure what you mean, but yes there are third person models for every player character.

The damages at the minute are purely for nothing more than testing, and all will be revised before the mod is actually released.

The fact that that particular brand of metal is terrible! Now some Killswitch Engage or All That Remains...that would be better.

That is beside the point completely. It doesn't matter if they weren't forced to, they did it out of kindness in the understanding that they would get a good campaign out at the end.

Let's put it this way. If you donated to a charity that promised to help animals in need, and they went and spent most it on tins of dog food which they gave to the local dog shelter, and pocketed the rest. That is effectively what has happened here. Yes, technically they have done what was promised, but they've done it in a cheap way and ended up profiting out of some strangers kindness in the end.

You seem to be missing the point entirely.

This mod was hyped up to be the best mod that was going to be released for L4D, ever. It won the mod of the year award for best upcoming mod. People were expecting this to be a good mod. Beta or no, you'd expect it to at least work. Remember that a public beta is a FIRST IMPRESSION - playing this is going to put some people off even touching the final product.

Not to mention people PAID the guy so he could buy a new computer to finish this. People have every right to be ****** off right now, and unless he completely turns it around, I expect there to be one hell of a lot of angry people come full release.

2 things:

1) Please at least attempt to spell correctly.

2) He isn't going to release a demo for a while. You aren't the only one waiting for this to come out, please be patient - the end product will be worth it, I assure you.
