You must have everything including ragdoll detail on high. Otherwise it crashes.

Remember when this was first announced. I thought yep another mod destined to die.

Then you got a few models and I thought heh maybe they'll go a little further.

You got the maps out and I thought hang on...

Then the HUD the video and the coding and suddenly i realized you were clinging onto what could be an INCREDIBLE mod! I usually hate being wrong but this is an exception!

No I just think that's it a waste of an extremely good engine. How long does it take to put in a high quality grass texture. About 10 seconds on hammer? 30 if you search the internet? It just seems like laziness.

Replace paintball guns with guns and paint with bullets and... wait... oh it's deathmatch!

I love paintball. Some things you just can't do in a shooter. Like richocheting shots and seeing your enemy through the netting but not being able to hit him. I also got a huge scar from paintballing on my neck. Almost hit a major artery at point blanc range. REALLY hurt.

I like the idea for this. I hope you add some pretty screwy places for the portals like... mount everest or 300,000 miles under the earth... stuff like that! That would be funny.

Amazing quality, guys. The moves and collisions look spot on in your trailers. The greatest mods take time. The greatest games too. Take half-life 2. It took like 6 years of development to make but is universally regarded as one of the best games of all time.

Christ almighty. At first glance I thought this was a hl1 mod. Come on guys! You have a good concept, just crank up the quality!

For gods' sake... i'm not flaming (Much) I'm just saying it's pure laziness. It's SO EASY to tile a texture in hammer. It does it BY DEFAULT for goodness' sake!

So, erm, just buy the game. Hl2 is one of the best if not THE best game I have played. EVER. The awesomeness is only matched by HL2:ep1. Seriously it is a reason to get a pc. also most mods require it. Sorry, it's just that the resources that come with hl2 are far greater than hl2dm. For example, there are many more maps so there are more textures. There are all the effects. These aren't present in the hl2dm build.
