Managed to get through a few maps but i must say this is insanely random. It's also fun and cool but sometimes it's just weird and completely unclear what to do. Specially ''building'' is really weird and i have no idea how to complete it. Also got hard stuck on it for sniping the stormtrooper in the jail.

Always nice to see new maps. Pretty good so far but a bit too much walking back and forth and searching hidden buttons and other triggers (2nd map). Currently also a bit stuck on the third map.

Cool map, good demo. Great atmosphere too. Very cool that you added a CR90 corvette.

There are a few small bugs which is ok since its a demo. (such as rain inside and a weequay being all weird on top of the tower. And a few minor map issues such as objects being non solid. Also the upper floor rodians are buggy and one dies randomly and theres also 2 rodians spawned in the same spot.) Hope you look into some of that.

Also consider adding a bit more variety to the enemies. (such as human_mercs, granshooter and rodian2)

I mean i seem to have some problem with lag through the entire map in the form of some fps drops.

It was fairly easy for me to get to the new part. However the new part is very dark and i had to turn on fullbright to be able to navigate properly in some places. Also i did not explore the entire thing in all detail, so i might have missed the point of this if there ever was one, but it was fun anyway.

3. Ok i just thought we were all just ripping off battlefront games than. Still the base jka guns all fire completely accurate (except a few but they do still fire accurate with sense on) but the new guns do not. Makes a lot of sense. Apparently we are suddenly trying to be ''realistic''.

6. Go to base jka. Spawn 6 trandos. Then go to ur mod. spawn 6 trandos again. See the difference.

3. Maybe if you went even closer nobody would notice any shots missing at all. So you want to tell me scoped weapons should be used from close range? Also how do you switch to the grenade launcher on the dc?

6. Wrong. They come in any color of the rainbow in JKA. Its just whoever made these npcs, simply deleted a line in the file.

I'm giving a bad score because its buggy and does not add so much original content. Most maps and models can be found elsewhere already. The only thing this mod does is put them all together, which means having a 10gb download each update. Meanwhile many of those maps and models have bugs which ruin it anyway. So i guess the only good thing is the new force and (buggy) weapons.

1. So you are telling me that, it is normal and ok to get massive fps drops just because someone wanted huge, possibly over the top explosions during a normal game. Because its an "old engine". Any other mod is mostly fine btw.

2. Great than we agree on something here

3. Did you really test this at all? Just use the scope on one of the new guns and press left mouse button a few times. They do not go to the center. Even with force sense on.

5. Add altfire option to npcs. Add noghri stick weapon. Just add some list with some slider for the weapons part instead of clicking through it all or something. lannik racto/human merc skin selection is bugged. Saber selection preview with duals is a bit bugged and unclear.

6. You mean the strange looking swrc ports? Which also include my bug from point 4. In JKA trandoshans have random colors instead of only yellow. Yet here someone messed around with its npc file and deleted that for whatever reason. If you want Bossk you can literally select Bossk on another page.

Yes, i was bored. And this got updated a few times. Now its more of a... 5/10 maybe.
There just isn't much to do in here. Just walking on custom maps and spawning own npcs, which takes very long since theres 200 pages and options and navigating through it is not exactly smooth.

1. Why do i get <30 fps when fighting multiple npcs, specially rockettroopers or gran, even if its just 1 or 2 of them with maybe 3 other stormtroopers. I have a decent enough pc to run JKA with stable 100 fps (and easily more). Even with all the funny dynamic lights turned off, 30 fps for 2 rockets. Why is there no low graphics option if its these new weapon effects causing this, or a simple way to just turn them off?

2. Black text on dark background in settings menu. Amazing.

3. Why is there a scope on the new guns if they do not even fire accurate. Lol.

4. half of the new npcs models still bugged and looking above players and can not hit them.

5. Improve this npc menu. Just takes too long finding the right npc and giving them the right guns + extra scripts. Perhaps worst part is clicking through all weapons. Add altfire option for npcs and perhaps some more things.

6. Why are trandoshans only yellow now?

I messed around a bit with npc spawning on ''duel maps'' and found some like deathstar are a bit bugged. Npcs are bugged too, such as deathtroopers having no hitboxes on the top half of their body. Lots of customisation for npcs though, perhaps even too much and it takes me way too long to find anything like that.
Weapons shoot all weird and are either completely accurate or inaccurate for no reason.The gun animations look hilarious though.

Then i got bored and decided to /quit and not play it for another year. GG.

What is this new update?
What a disapointment again...
I was almost getting excited to play the new and improved movie duels 2.

But after watching the really good looking menu and replacing the cursor with Katarns saber, i decided to try and play the new missions.
I navigated to the ''tales of the galaxy'' part to find the new missions. Seeing as the Dark Forces 2 was the only one being actually new and advertised alot on the moddb page, i tried to play it.
But it would not let me and told me to download it from moddb, but its not there... ???

After that i decided to try and play the improved missions, such as ''short negotiations''.
After fully watching the cinematic, which is very interesting because i haven't ever seen it before, the game started.
My character got bugged, and looked like Jaden instead of Qui-gon and was stuck in attacking with the lightsaber.
Luckily i was able to fix this by doing /-attack and manually picking the right skin in the menu.
After also fixing the cameradamp and lowering some graphic options to get almost decent fps in a 20 year old game, i was ready to finally play.

I could barely slice the first group of battledroids as my lightsaber would not swing properly when i was pressing my left mouse button but instead, was getting blocked by blaster shots which stuck the animations.
My character would not deflect shots most of the time, and could not attack often. And i was still using the old Base JKA system to avoid the new and rather spastic and slow ''MD mode''.
Not only that, the droids also decided to quickly run around randomly to make it even harder to hit them. And not only the shooting ones. Also the blue pilot droids operating the consoles would suddenly start running around like crazy.
On top of that, their dead bodies kept blocking me for some reason and the droids would sometimes run into each other or into walls. Even the droids in the last hall would move out of position to slightly ruin the experience of the map even more.
Atleast the hangar has a decent fight now.

After that i tried to play as Jango Fett on Kamino, but my game crashed on loading.
Restarting the game, i tried again and it worked after a rather long map load.
First off i wanted to use that new grapple hook as was seen in the video, but could not find any grapple hook.
So i just proceeded to test the pistols, and the dual pistols do not even have a crosshair for some reason.
After looking at Kenobi for about a minute i decided to walk up to him and press the win button flame thrower, which instantly killed him!
Apparently, my npc in the following cinematic had the exact same idea, and one shot Kenobi in the cinematic.
Next up, i lost all my weapons and it was time for the funny melee part against a ressurected Obi-wan. However, my character was still stuck in the flame thrower thing and could not turn it off.
It was just the effect without any animation or damage, but kept going without any way to turn it off, ruining the rest of the fight.

Next i tried to play the Geonosis arena as Mace. Of course it was as laggy as ever, but with this new genius saber deflecting it was worse then ever. And the super battle droids took at least 5 hits before going down.
Their animations were also a little weird and they would move their arm strangely in between shooting and kept missing me as i stood still infront of them.
Also nice skybox btw.

By now i had to fix my target damp at each new map that i loaded, how fun.
The new battle of coruscant map seemed to be ok. The new animations look funny though. And the droid operating the console is not even solid.
After playing that, my game froze and crashed again.

Next i played the sarlacc pit, which was actually funny but it got kinda ruined by the random lag freezes.
Some of the npcs are a little weird too and behave strange, aim above players or just look funny.
Still this map was the first original thing i have seen in JKA modding for years so i guess it was alright.
Of course after playing it, i crashed once again trying to load a new map.

I tried playing that TFU map with the jedi temple and could simply not tell what was even going on but it was kind of funny i guess.
What are all these new force powers and guns, and what changed with the old ones? Force projection placed a jaden and made me /notarget and toggled godmode. At some point i got stun locked by one of those force droids and the that big purge trooper on the landing pad took 1 minute of non stop hitting it with my lightsaber to take down, while the trooper did not even do anything except for look above me.
I even got stuck inside of a corpse for a few seconds at some point.

Yes im like the mod very much for playing character from movie XD.
And maps is fun and mod look cool.

but after npc spawning and have an issue with blasters npcs im not like it so much :(
And game its lagy sometime. When npcs shooting there is lags. Maybe its my computer too old for mod for 2003 game.
And npcs its sometimes very bugy. I playing the new game plus mode but pig with axe have 2000000 health and big droid kill me 1 punch and empire agent shoot above me always.
And there not much more missions. Only order 66 and few other but all other game is jedi knight outcast and jedi knight jedi academy. So after play missions of game it becoming bored. And going map for playing but its empty and no mission. So i spawning npcs but npcs not always work because have an issue with blasters npcs. It not funny :(

Hello.
i like the mod very much but i wanted to roleplay as my favorite character darth Maul on naboo and kill clone troopers like in the movie.
But after i spawned many clone troopers they are not attack me. Only sometimes.
Enemy only see me and after i get very close they see but dont shooting.
I am not use cheat 'notarget'.

And again i wanted play in deathstar map but stormtrooper dont shoot me in hangar.
Why is enemy not attack me?
I am 50 minuts spawning npc in map but no work!!! :(

The launcher is in the Gamedata folder with the rest of the files. It still only says install.

Can i get jk2 to work without using this launcher?

There is no such button in the launcher. The only thing the launcher has is ''install'' which redirects me to the download page, while i have this mod installed already.
