Hey, you guys ought to consider making Mac/Linux versions of this. Here's an open XNA implementation for Win/Mac/Linux:

Github.com

The two things I notice you've got that we need are some audio methods and a video player. That's on the roadmap, but if you guys want to contribute to MG2D to make cross-platform versions that'd be awesome! Aside from that, your game should work out of the box and require zero code changes on your end.

Just something to think about.

irc.freenode.net/#steamlug is watching you. I know this because a bunch of other Linux users told me to post here. My guess is, be prepared for a horde.

Thanks for the Linux consideration!

Are there plans to do a port? I'd love to help out if you need it. (That is, if you were to port it away from Flash.)

I've been told that installing lsb-release should fix it on Arch. Give that a go.

This fixed it on Fedora as well. Package name should be redhat-lsb.

I fixed it on Fedora. You need to have redhat-lsb installed.

Hey there!

I'm running on Fedora 15 x86_64. Both libpng12 and libjpeg are installed and I made working symlinks, but I still get the error. I didn't have to attempt that for one F15 machine though, so I think it's something else. Trying to figure out what though...

I get this error as well. It actually works fine on my lappy, but not my tower. Assuming there's a silly package missing, but usually it actually *tells* you what it couldn't find.
