I'd probably leave out the purple discoloration. Instead just giving it more gun powder residue. It's a gas operated gun, so the pressure of the blast pushes the slide backwards. So the very front of the slide would get very dirty

How did you change the magazine sizes? I've been searched all over the weaponproperties.xml trying to find them

You should remove the rust textures for the desert eagle all together. It has polished chrome finish that is incredibly durable, probably more so then the rest of the guns in this game. It gets dirty pretty easily though so it should jam early.

Does anyone know how to change the magazine capacity of weapons. I know it has to do with the weaponproperties.xml but for the life of me I can't figure out what stat to edit.

How did you reduce the recoil for the Desert Eagle? I haven't been able to mod any of the stats in the weapons folder, it crashes when I try to rebuild the fcb file

How did you get rid of auto-reload? Ive spent most of the night trying to figure out how to edit the weapon files,particularly the rate of fire and recoil pattern

How in the world did you managed to change it so guns do more damage at range? Lol. That is not how guns work in real life. Bullets reach maximum velocity at the end of their barrel. Realistically firing the same rounds the gun with the longer barrel is going to how more power, less recoil and more accuracy. But they heavier and more difficult to maneuver.So it make more sense to have so larger rifles are more accurate at range but less accurate when moving or when not aiming
