The game I think needs a 64bit system, I am noticing all some of the mods being compiled with the newer OS seems to change something that can Crash the older 32bit systems. Thats WHY I started Modding the old Mod Deus Vult since it plays flawless on my system and needed some minor changes. The only catch is the Boot/Glove bug but that can be worked around by adding them as plunder more often.

This version of the mod CTD me also. Even the older Less intense version, so I think its a 64bit issue.

Hello,

I ask this of you as you were one of the ones who worked on this mod. Its a nice mod and easy to play. I cannot play your new mod as it CTD's half way in loading. But Crusader Deus Vult 2.3 seems to work fine. But I do have a problem, after the first week the Gloves Boots and Arrows and Bolts are no longer in the inventory of the merchants.

I have looked up this bug and it was one a while back but doesn't seem to be mentioned now. If it was fixed is there something that can be modified in Deus Vult that would be easy to do to fix this? I tried everything, removing items, renaming them and changing abundance and no go. Can you take a quick look at the old mod and see if a small patch can be worked up, or can you tell me what the fix is?

Hello I have a CTD before the game even loads. I really wanted to try the game but it makes it 60% then CTD.

I have a E6400 3.0 Dual Core CPU and Winxp SP3 with 3.25gb of Memory and a Nvidia 480GX 1TB Video Card and 10k RPM Raptor HDD, with a Clean OS install on my system with all drivers updated using DX9.

I was wondering if somehow this mod got converted to 64bit systems. I heard of a few other games that required that, even though this game was made in 32bit sometimes the modders add things that really only work with the 64bit systems and their 4gb+ Memory.

Its a shame as this looked like a nice mod. Sands of Faith CTDs everytime in the Cities for some reason.

I am afraid your Wrong as your 1.9 Version Crashes when you go to Tournament. You have some Bugs you NEED to address. Going into towns etc. cause CTD or hanging issues. I have a strong PC and other Mods with no issues. Denying the Bugs will not remove them.

Hello, I would like to say great mod but I am not able to play. I am running 1.168 GOG version of the game. Your Mod loads about 55% and then Crashes to desktop. I have no Idea what PC requirements are needed but this is a pretty old game. I have a E6400 Dual Core 3.0ghz CPU and A 480GX Video with 1.5 GB of Memory I have WinXP SP3 and Have 4GB of memory which is more like 3.25gb because of XP limits.

I would love to give this game a try but I have no idea why its crashing on loading. I also updated with the 2 Fixes made available on this site.

Well this mod alone should be adding to the gates, but as you see there were only 100 downloads. Gearbox killed Aliens CM and SEGA won't help it, I always hated Sega games because they have NO support.

I still can't figure out HOW he switched the models. I looked at the code and can't find where exactly to change it and to what. I am not an Hex expert so it a little hard, I think it should be possible to change muzzle flash and grenade effects. Problem is making sure it's stable there are many entries that have the same numbers so sometimes you have to copy alot of the numbers to make sure you got the right spot.

I'll have to see, its VERY hard to find things using a Hex editor example is the changing of Hudsons's rifle I can't find how to do, if there is a graphics change then that isn't as bad but finding the right HEX code to change is tricky. Above all I want it to be stable. I might be able to Increase Grenades power and maybe muzzle flash. But don't expect any updates right away. the main thing I wanted to fix is whats in the mod, but improvements are always good to add.

Problem is not many are playing this game anymore which is sad.

You can't do it, the Perk is designed to raise the limit. The only solution is not to use the perk which I would consider a cheat. Most people playing online are playing Bughunt and playing with Friends, so there should be no issues. I even tried adjusting the mag count to be 95 with the perk, but there was no way it would be more or less but not 95, so I decided to make it stock 95 as it should have been and no perk should have ever existed in the first place.

BTW I found the location to change timelimit on the online game so in theory I should be able to change it from 6 minutes to 24+ minutes also how many rounds per game. I haven't tested yet to see if it works in game but I did find the settings. I wonder if anyone would want that change? You would think Bughunt should be a 24 minute game and not 6 minutes.

P.S. Dont forget to rate the mod so Others know its worth having.

I am using HxDen and UE Explorer. The same as recommended to use to mod this game. It seems like something is preventing you from modding the game, but at least it is still moddable, and I was able to release something. Maybe that is why the other guy quit, he could no longer mod it after the patch?

It was easy, I used the latest version of the tools and it worked, but I have the USA version of the game and that "may" make a difference. Great news on the DCLs I figured it would, about the only thing I cant get to work is the SG ammo in MP it still shows up 150 even though I changed the correct file syntax, there must be something else that keeps it at 150. But even with that, the change with the 2 shots to 1 allows the SG to last longer.

Hey Guys, I made a small mod that adds pulse rifle ammo to proper amount and changed a few other things. I uploaded here on this site since it seems no one is going to mod this game again here.

You'll like it, I changed some things he didn't like the Smartgun and Turrets used 2 rounds out of the Magazine for every 1 bullet fired! This nerfed the gun bad.

Now when you get the SG or use Turrets they kick a$$, until they are out of ammo. 380 max pulse ammo and 95rds in the mag 900rpm and SG 1200rpm. Enjoy, it is waiting authorization if it takes too long I will upload somewhere else. Hex editing is a pain and his instructions were hard but once you know how I made good progress.

This mod was made due to the fact there are NO current working mods that edit these items for Aliens Colonial Marines. I made this for myself but I know there are a lot out there that would like to share in using this mod.
