Just a quick update, 3.0 is still coming but I have taken a break for a couple of weeks over the holidays. 2014 work will really start to get done and I will have some news for you!

Guys, I honestly had no idea there was any interest left in this mod! Seeing these comments have enlightened me to decide I will finish my 3.0 version of the mod after all!

I can't give an ETA but I do still have the WIP version of 3.0 which I can pick up again, I'll get to updating this as soon as possible and really would appreciate some comments on what you would like to see as an addition to the mod.

Make sure you have installed the Official 2.01 Patch BEFORE the mod. As it is required to work correctly.

In 2.5 they are available to both Mordor and Isengard although this will more than likely be removed for 3.0 in order to keep balance issues to a minimum.

Apologies for the late response I've been very busy lately with some RL things going on (New Job, New House! :P) and I havn't had much time to catch up with you guys.

Your first question, yes it is 2.5 although it says 2.0 on the menu screen. It was something I overlooked intially and decided it wasn't a big enough issue to make me re-pack the mod again so it will be updated again for 3.0 which I promise is coming! I have a lot of work planned for 3.0 which is why there has been such a delay and Arnor WILL be fully working in 3.0 along with a load of other features.

Ill be updating this page soon, and you can expect 3.0 within the month as it is nearing completion!

EDIT: Just noticed your question about the AI. I have increased the difficulty and complexity of the AI (although there are many more changes to AI in 3.0) to compensate for the increase in defensive capabilities at your disposal :)

As with any mod, you may only play vs another player running the same modification. This may be your problem. If you are both running this mod and its still not working then thats something Ill have to look into.

Sorry for the late reply, been very busy lately and not had much time to work on the mod xD

I like the idea, but Im not sure if its something I will be able to get working for version 3. New heroe units, sure. But new custom hero models are a whole different ball park. Ill look into it.

In other news Version 3 is coming, slowly. Progress Is slow because I want to take my time to make sure its the best it can possibly be. A rushed mod is a bad mod :)

Ive decided to release a version 2.5 in-between version 2 and 3 to address some bugs with the mod. All bugs I have found so far have now been fixed as well as some minor gameplay changes.

Expect Version 2.5 later today a full change list will be included and updated on the mod profile. If you would like to see a change in Version 2.5 please let me know!

We already have extended the engine itself, enabled support for higher poly models, new particle effects and more :)

We are still on track, Im working on the HUD at the moment so we will have some more images to look at soon, but as were doing coding right now theres not much to put in a picture :P

And yea, Zombies have been done. But you will see how we differ from the standard zombie genre and try to bring something completely new to a maybe a little overused genre. But when done right, it can be an amazing experience.

We're going to now focus on making the first release a co-op release. Its a squad based game anyhow (of sorts) so it makes sense.

But, as the scope of the game as somewhat got larger we won't have a release as soon as we first though. But don't worry! :P This just gives us more time to make it perfect.

A Demo will be released within the next few months. So don't worry about that. It will have the a level from the Single Player story and 2 Maps for Online play.

I hate it when people guess our ideas... lol

Its not exactly like that but we were going to do a day/night system similar to that in the Single Player game. But some levels will just be set to Day, and some just for Night. With others changing part way through.

Zombies might not be the only enemys you encounter ;)

This should be on the HL2 Filefront Site really, This isnt actually a 'mod' its just a simple model edit.

Even the model is a Rip from the PC Version of Halo, and im 99% sure you didnt convert it. Its easy to just take the .mdl files etc from the Garrysmod Addon and edit it for HL2.

Make a full Halo mod however, and ill be watching ;)
