Did the weird price just come from importing or is it overall cheaper in a clean new character aswell? Might compare the Gold Cloak in 6.2 with the one in 7.0 to see if anything changed there.

Just use a tool to make Halberds two handed again if you are annoyed, it is not that hard. It's his mod, his decisions. If you don't like the mod play another or try to change the things he did in his mod. You can legit adjust anything you want, you could give Rob Stark an army of level 63 max stats kingsguard if you want and watch him tear through all other enemies.
I'll just say it straight forward; i don't play the mod because i like the gameplay and such, i play it for the GoT setting and look and adjust anything i feel is unbalanced myself.

You can try to rebalance it yourself by tweaking the dmg or stats of certain weapons/units

You can turn them into bastard swords yourself with morghs editor. At least the 1-2 handed aspect. The only issue is length due to the meshes i think. So if you are fine with the reach of a one-handed weapon but want no either swing it with both or just one hand, then just use morghs. There are a lot of tutorials

I think he said it once that that probably won't happen as the map is pretty big already. You used to be able to travel to Yunkai i think, was a one time trip like the current expedition beyond the wall tho

You can try to import the model awoiaf uses and increase the dmg by your own using morghs editor

The members of your party don't gain any exp during the night? Or are they just taking a while to level up? Your own level also plays a factor since you can't really train a unit that is better than you

I think you can turn off Lords coming back from exile or changing factions in the mod menu. Not sure tho

Part of Realism is also that an army should have spare weapons, especially for a siege if they tend to break. If armies start fighting with fists thats not realism.

You have the choice to use morghs and add it into someones inventory (even your own but only on new games). The other option is capturing the Lord of Starfall and executing him/sending him to the wall. That way you also get valyrian swords like Heartsbane.

Talk to a barkeeper and ask him for information about valyrian steel weapons and then go to Qohor and !enter! the city. Not "Trade with locals" but "take a look around the streets" or whatever it is called. Then you have to search the Weaponsmith in the city and then you can ask him for valyrian steel weapons

Being a vassal is not enough. I don't know if you need high relation to the faction but i know that it works if you are a landsman (for example you can enter the faction blacksmith from the north if you have chosen north as your race during charakter creation)

You have to go to faction smiths or do quests.

If you start a new game you can select your chars "nationality". Kind of a bummer. He took out the "find item menu" because it caused bugs. Then instead of making faction items available for friends/vassals of the said faction he demands that you also have to be born in their lands...
