I did not get any errors; I just could not spawn. I made a bf4_assault_soldier under soldiers (tweak and .com). I also made a bf4_assault_soldier under kits.

As an example from other skins, usually, I can write something like this:
gameLogic.setKit 1 0 "Spetsnaz_Specops_Special" "bf3_ru_recon_soldier"
gameLogic.setKit 2 0 "MOH_EU_Specops_Special" "MOH_EU_specops_soldier"

or:
gameLogic.setKit 1 2 "MEInsurgent_Assault" "mec_soldier03"
gameLogic.setKit 2 2 "bf4us_assault" "bf4us_soldier4"

I was not sure how I could refer to your skins.

I feel stupid now but I gotta ask. I think I've multitasked too much and run my brain overclocked for too long. Work, modding have given me a mental block, and I can't figure out how to use these great skins. Can someone help by simply telling me what I need to do to be able to use them? Thanks in advance.

The sounds you uploaded sounds more like a 50cc moped. Take a look at these two video clips, and you'll understand that there is a completely different engine sound in a Fast Attack Vehicle than what is heard in your VAW files.

I'm so happy that Kestrel is back on moddb.com. In my opinion, Kestrel is a perfectionist. People like him and other experienced modders, Mortarty, Nanoh The Great, Gattobuono, Fast&FPS;, Doragonkong's, OlegNONA, STS Garage, emaozipujing, and many more, make BF2 a 'modern' game.

BF2 modding is my passion. Personally, I haven't been very productive lately. I'm behind schedule with my own mod, but there are many reasons for that. I'm a perfectionist myself, and that makes things take longer. I have a full-time job and I'm also trying to stay in shape physically.

I live far up north, so when it's summer here, I just have to enjoy that time and focus on modding during autumn and winter.

To everyone here and to all of you who mod and share knowledge, you are amazing people and bring great joy to all of us. You make BF2 immortal.

I just had a quick look at it. I looked great. Well done and thanks.

Smart move. I had maps that crashed and I had to replace them. I could not find anything wrong but the new map worked fine. No explanatory reason for the crash. The config in both looked the same though.

Have you tried to run it in windows mode?
Mape a copy of the original icon and replace the text with something like this?

"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 0 +szx 1280 +szy 1024 +modPath mods/MOD +ignoreAsserts 1

This is a great Single Player mod. I have been so luck to test it for a week. It is different. Great crips graphics. Good sound and Fantastic HD textures. Nice skinned vehicles. HD HUD etc.

I have to give you 10 out of 10 for this. Well made. Few tweaks needed for me to make it perfect for my use.
