Malay will not be in V3 as this version essentially extend far north, far west and far south. Maybe will I make a V4 in the future, and yes, these ideas are interesting !
right now, not in the V2, but the V3 will erase the majority of the diplomacy notifications (only war/peace, as in native). I've tested it already in the V3 and it's more readable, but you will need to follow manually the relationships between factions directly in the factions screen. (especially to prepare a war)

you can make Dark Knights as your own kingdom culture (from diplomacy : talk to your chancellor to change kingdom culture) once they have been defeated in game (and they will be recruitable in all your villages)

hello ; there is the blacksmith building that you can add in your own cities which permit to repair the damaged equipment but that's all. I don't plan to add this kind of feature but if anyone has an source code to integrate I can do it.
This screen is added from a mod initially integrated to tocan calradia, it has been thought for the native game (6 factions) but i'll see if i can correct it.
hello, do you have an up to date version of warband ? This mod works with the latest version (1.174) , and I know the previous version can have this kind of error.
Peasants are custom troops : you can upgrade them in a very diverse kinds of troops (Arbalesters, Champion, Knights, Arquebusers, Cornacs...). You can custom their equipment by talking to them.
But you can also choose a Kingdom culture for your whole kingdom : all the factions can be chosen. If you manage to defeat the Dark Knights, you'll also be able to use the Dark Knights culture for your kingdom.

Like I said in my previous article, I written the stories of each claimant and made more or less obvious references in some of them (someone said GoT..?). I used only ChatGPT to translate them from my native language to English. Don't hesitate to say why you prefered this one or another, if it was for the story, its culture, or even its strategic settlements location.
I tried to make stories similar enough to the native ones : each claimant have a legitimate reason to claim the throne, but the King/Queen in place has also solid arguments, so the player just have to judge and chose. For an hyphotetical V3 (which is almost in pre-alpha version) I thought about different claimants like obviously evil ones, or just charismatic heroes with enough support.
OSP is the term used by the modders to refer to assets that everyone is free to use (so yes, we can say your assets are OSP :) ; thank you) I think it means something like "open-source product".
My mod is "Calradia's Borderlands" where several factions are added to Calradia in order to give more different cultures and factions. So, the target is exactly the same : adding a complete new kingdom like you began to do in your mod. 3 different cities, 6 or 7 castle and 20 villages, ideally all different but using a reasonable amount of asset (performance issue). And some typical equipment to complete that and it will be perfect.
But i have far less time than before to mod, so just take your time with yours and I will use the assets when it they will be finished and credit you for the V3 of my mod, which should be released in a long long time (maybe six months at least)
Hello ; I noticed I have implemented a useless level of folder. You have to put the content named "Ext. native - calradia borderlands" directly in your folder named "Module"
I do not plan to add the Two ways Inn, but maybe Zendar in a next version (or New Zendar, as Zendar is said to be destroyed if I remember correctly) . I did not try to be compliant to the official M&B lore in order to keep some freedom in the new kingdoms
Also, I don't have a lot of time right now so it won't be until several months, unless someone want to continue the mod.
Noble women dresses are scripted in the module system. To be sure they wear what you want, I think you have to put their dress in a precise place in their inventory (first or second, with the shoes). I've found a way by testing it in my mod at the beginning but a forgot exactly how i did it. You should find a way in the Taleworlds Forum.
It's very promising! Good luck with this mod! The scenes of African villages/towns/castles bring a certain breath of fresh air to the game.
For my own mod, I initially also wanted to add a kingdom inspired by Southern Africa, but I couldn't find any assets other than the Sarranids.If you ever plan on making your assets OSP, I would be happy to include them in V3 of my mod :)

Hello, sorry I think it's near impossible to make the two version savefile compatible (there are save file editors on the web, but i don't think it will be easy).
There are some alternative solutions :
You can use the character exporter to keep your character and let it play in the V2
The next patch of the V2 will include a easier way to locate all the potential companions (to make your party as you want early in the game)
I think I have to reactivate my Steam account soon :p
But for the notification spam it will be fixed in the next patch

I will soon release a patch to correct it. You will get political notification only if you belong to one of the faction involved (vassal or your own kingdom). It's far better and let you focus on the essential ingame.
Maybe, but later. I will release the module system when the mod will be stable enough and if someone want to do this no problem. But i will do less modding in the future because of professional and personnal changes
