This might have something to do with the shaders. Try playing around with the shader/shadow settings. I know people have experienced similar issues when the option for grass shadows was turned off, and fixed when they turned it on.

Just wanted to stop and say that you and the team have created something incredible here. I recently tried out the mod for the first time a few days ago and was blown away by the additional content added to the engine. Really amazing stuff!

Might be the unpopular opinion, but would you consider removing Destiny Chests?

I've lost a couple of hardcore characters from accidentally clicking on them but I think the biggest issue is my skeletons are constantly getting stuck when near one, fighting Baal is especially difficult since there's 2 static chests right near Baal.

Playing hardcore characters, it'll probably never be worth the risk of opening one but also, when playing normal characters, there's really no true risk considering that dying is trivial in this case.

(Correct me if I'm wrong)In the original game, there is a threshold for exp depending on your level. For example, if you kill Baal as lvl 10, you're not going to get the same exp that you would killing him at 30, or any at all for that matter. Once you reach the lvl/threshold for that boss/act, then you'll receive the full exp. I know this was a thing in Battle Net to avoid power-leveling too quickly, so I'm not sure if the same concept applies here.

Regarding the first comment, the handful of characters I ran through this mod always reached their late 30s by time I fought Diablo. I also use /players 8 so there's a exp boost, but you should be at least 30 once you get to him. Classes are still based around the original game, so a barbarian would probably have a harder time regardless facing Diablo 1v1 than a sorceress or necro.

Let me know if you need any more help (or if I'm just flat out wrong about something lol)

Hey m3zekken,

In the 5.2 update, a magic sword called "An Evil Force" drops every now and then. It's a weak sword but it's stat requirements are 100+ to use and no level requirement. It first dropped for me in the Den of Evil on normal difficulty.

Is this right?

EDIT: Also the Guardian of the Cold Plains popped up in the Dark Wood.

Is there a limitation on which weapons/armor can be upgraded? I was able to upgrade rings, but weapons and armor don't seem to take.

Hello there,

Fantastic mod! Lots of cool additions to breathe life into the game, great work.

Couple of questions for you:

Are mercs supposed to be able to wear two separate rings? Right now, only one is allowed to be equipped.

Also, how do upgradable items work? I see a recipe in the readme that says "Pgem + Item = -> Added stats + level req" but cannot figure out how to make this work in game.
