Don't think it'd need to be updated seeing as 1.4.12 only fixed some bugs, optimized some textures and added some more config stuff.

Every time I see new screens for this I get excited. Great looking stuff man, keep it up. As for the weapons all I could say is I wish there were a few more snipers (preferably bolt action, yes I know how stupid and mainstream that sounds but it feels really good to pick off people with something powerful like that)
Anyway, always good to see what you have going.
Good luck on the rest man.

Just saying, totally possible to drag and drop Misery's hud textures over these. I have mine set up that way currently. Not sure about posting it as a download yet considering it is the Misery teams stuff but if I do get permission I will. For now though go into Misery mod gamedata and go to textures/ui then just copy all the hud files over. Only the hud files. You'll see them because they will be little images of the masks. Just copy and paste over smurths and there you go.

It is neither, well I mean you must've installed the Items addon + STCOP patch in the dynamic hud mod but basically your game is trying to find a file that's not there.
Download this Moddb.com or take off the patch.
But in case you do want that addon, as I've said download the file I linked above.
And then here is a patch for all of them together including icons Mediafire.com
Follow the read me inside and you will then have outfit addon, the item addon (which that jerky model is coming from) and stcop all working together.
Also it works with smurths hud.
Hope this helps.

The version Misery has apdapted seems to differentiate helmets from suits though, that's more so what I was meaning. Like say I'm wearing the cs3 suit with the protective helm (scientific one). In third person instead of showing the mask that's normally on the cs3 it'd show the protective helm while still having my character wearing the cs3 suit.

And I got around to it, it was just cause I didn't alter the string table to add the new outfits. I have it fully working with dynamic hud, outfit addon, item addon, and smurths hud.
Yeah they are sort of out there in comparison with quality, I think I'll go ahead and make a new page for it. I actually just got a response from the author of the mod earlier and he said it was fine to update it while he was gone, also said he had more models that he has ready to put in but is off on a trip right now but is looking forward to getting back and working on it.

So I got armory addon working again, just gotta remerge trade files because winmerge decided to crash right at the end as I saved. Go figure. Anyway, I've also made a new equipment ui as well though for right now it is a combined one of this mod here, stcop, item addon and now the old armory addon (not armory overhaul, but the suit one, adds in 6 new suits) I also for the life of me cannot figure out why descriptions aren't working on the suits, I've added everything from the outfit text to the new one and the st_outfit xml. Does it use a line or something telling which line the description is on? That's how I assume it'd work at least. Anyway, everything is playable and it works. I just thought I'd let you know since they're pretty nice suits and I think they'd make a good addition.

Oh yeah I knew that bit, thats why theres all those different images to load. I thought you meant like each suit had a different way it handled durability. Like say an exo didn't get cracks on its mask as a regular gas mask

Hey Vodka chicken have you thought of adding the feature of the Wear your goddamn helmet mod(https://www.nexusmods.com/stalkercallofpripyat/mods/241/?)
Not a huge deal but it might be nice to have for all those 3rd person players out there or those who just like to enjoy their character models every now and then.

Also I'm about to start working on updating the old Armory Addon(https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/addons/armory-addon-10-coc-1320-ao) and if you're interested possibly have it merged here. The author already allowed another guy in the comments to do a merge but I've yet to see any word from that, so permissions are in order I suppose. Just for me to try and get it working.

It changes up on how it breaks? I've never noticed honestly every suit seems to break just as fast to me, or I mean it's not like impossible to see but it's like the little cracks and holes already appearing when I'm still at over 95 percent condition even. Anyway, thanks again. I'll just look around the files and see if I can find anything later for that, not a huge deal but I mean if I'm tweaking my game I intend on going through it fully.

Are you going to make the item addon patch compatible with the outfit addon patch by chance? I actually just made my own trade files for them via winmerge so all the items show up, though there still needs to be an updated equipment ui icon thing made I believe seeing as some of my icons are messed up.
I'm going to look further into that later on, but I thought it might be a good idea to ask first if you're doing it so I can wait for your update. I've really liked what you've done with the mod, especially that new weapon over heating function. You and all who have helped have done a great job so thank you.
Also not that it's super important but I know there was a way to alter the lines on how fast the mask huds would change from durability loss in Misery, so I assume the same can be done for this mod in a similar fashion? It might even be an interesting option to have in the menu or in the optionals. I often find after one swarm of tushkano's (or a singular dog or cat) that my mask already has a crack in it, while only suffering a few bites or a scratch.
Thanks again for all your work.

Did you install the STCOP and Item addon patch? I believe the chocolate is from that addon, if you did add that without the other mod then that probably explains why it's crashing. If you didn't add the patch for that, nor have the mod then perhaps the mod creator accidentally still had references to it in regular version still. Anyway, perhaps using this alongside the patch will alleviate it as well Moddb.com

That tweak I made in Misery seems to be doing its job in the fact that the day time radiation isn't getting to my character while having a seva or ecologist suit on though sadly the whole durability loss making it so radiation leaks through isn't working quite as planned. Do you have any idea how I could make this work? I know there is a durability loss per shot line for guns, wonder if there is a line similar to that for suits but it's protection values degrade as durability lowers.

Yes they are, it's not some graphical bug. There is another mod in the addons section which rebalances STCOP in a more realistic/not really realistic but more hardcore so to speak fashion. In that mod he makes it so tracers are just the red ones slightly tweaked to be shorter and less out of place on screen. Often it feels like lasers flying around I feel with the green and red ones going on at the same time. I find his version of them though perfect in my opinion. There are lines you can tweak to turn them off all together I believe though I recommend trying out that rebalance, makes the game quite interesting with spawns turned up and alongside the dynamic huds new overheating feature since his mod also makes the durability on the weapons a bit more logical. Definitely worth a try, worst comes to worst just look up the line to disable tracers and change that though I believe you'd have to do it for each weapon.
Hope this helps you.

I see, then again I suppose this is an addon and not a changing of stats.
I like the idea of the new head gear though, need more head pieces in stalker that aren't tied with outfits but then again I think new gear in general is nice so anything put in is appreciated.
Well, fingers crossed for that overhaul then. Just yesterday I was reinstalling Misery because COC got me in the mood, I was altering some outfit protection values. Namely the closed breathing suits. I made radiation protection 1.1 though I've yet to test it, I like the idea of a 100 percent condition suit being able to withstand radiation though as soon as one bullet hits or one tear from a dog biting at you radiation will start leaking through(made my own mod for Fallout in this fashion even though radiation is a joke in that game)
I'm thinking of doing the same for COC but also delving into other protection values. I did it for Misery mostly because I wanted to try Dark mode again without having to constantly use meds, but for COC I feel some of the faction outfits could stand out more than they do now as I said above.

Hey Loner, or anyone else for that matter. I was trying to take my hand at some rudimentary hud changes, first off I was trying to edit this one in particular to have the same color scheme/icons as your AA2 hud port as well as tweak the brightness on some stuff as I felt it was a bit out there on screen.
I honestly haven't fooled around in photoshop a lot but that's what I used and all I did was take your icons from the AA2 hud and put them on this huds dds file. Everything looks in order and I saved following instructions I found online, also adding sections to the alpha channel then saving as dds in interpolated alpha, dxt5 or something like that. Anyway, when I get in game where the icons used to be now are only white boxes. Any ideas on how on how to fix this?

Also on a side note, before when you said about the compass having to sit there because it was needing to be cut off on screen to achieve that look you have currently. I had an idea thinking on it a bit more while I was working on this today and I was wanting to ask if it was possible to do. Imgur.com I even drew up a fast sketch of how it'd work. As I said I still haven't used much of photoshop or gimp and what not but I believe this could work, seeing as the compass in game uses the same sort of transparent texture I'm thinking of. Anyway, thanks for feedback given if any and also thanks again for making this.

Heads up to anyone using this with the dynamic hud (which unfortunately has been taken down at the moment for some reason so I am unable to post this fix there as well) There is a bug with the rpg, some files from the hud mod overwrite the existing rpg meshes from stcop v3, in this case this was the reason for the crashing. The log was putting out this, motion not found [rpg7_idle_aim]
To fix this, simply put the files located in the stcop folder at meshes\dynamics\weapons\wpn_rpg7 and everything should be fine.
I've tested spawning in rpg on me and masks just to make sure and everything was working, hud still worked and rpg was fine.
Hope this helps someone, I've yet to run into any other bugs yet relating to these two mods but I will post anymore and fixes here if I can figure them out.

DerVampir. - - 55 comments @ My preferred configuration CoC1.4.16+STCoPv4

IMPORTANT : Since I've been using this I've been crashing at start up and in the log its saying because of a mounted gun sounds file or whatever not working or loading, anyway the point is whoever is using it until it is updated again will have to go into configs/weapons and look for mounted weapons. If you compare to the STCOP 3 files there is no such file even there so just delete this, my game would then start.

Thanks again for making this though you might want to update soon as this was plaguing me for quite a bit. I literally did 3 reinstalls thinking I just kept doing something wrong. For now though that fix seems to work. Hope this helps someone.

This is working well alongside VHM, thanks a lot. Can't wait to see more stuff from you, also have you thought of maybe making more variations on faction outfits? Duty has the same sort of exo as army where it has less anomaly resistance but more damage resistance in all forms. But the others aren't like that. Nor are their other faction outfits for the most part that I'm seeing. I really enjoy that sunrise exo, really cool addition. Would be nice to see more stuff like that, like with seva or something but making that like super expensive. Anyway, thanks again for your contribution

Awesome, thanks a lot man. I'm enjoying this along side the new update for the dynamic hud where he added the overheating feature, so repairs aren't needed every few clips but if I keep going at it too much in a short period the over heating makes it so I have to still repair. Good combo, thanks a lot again.

Anyone having issue with artifacts not spawning in anomalies? I've been chalking it up to just bad luck on them spawning but I just made a new character recently and I have still not found a single one in an anomaly, tried right after emissions and also just off and on while wandering around. I've only tried with bear and echo so far but still, I've tried it many times and not a single one. I don't know if my luck is just that bad or something is up. I'm still finding the occasional artifact but from what I've seen so far I've only gotten them via stashes. Also I think I got a stone blood earlier from a guide mission from Spore as a reward too though I'm not exactly sure. Any ideas though or if there is a fix?

Great job on the hud, very nice. Thinking of using it myself though if it's not too much to ask is there anyway you would perhaps make a version where the compass was above the bars instead of them being side by side? Like this Imgur.com
Sorry I couldn't find an actual reference image for something like that, so I just altered yours. If it's too much trouble or you simply just don't want to that's fine, just thought I'd ask. Anyways, thanks for the addon still. Can't wait to see what else you have in store.

I was just on ap pro earlier, if you translate page it's for the most part readable. I've found a few russian mods for coc. Theres this one rather large modpack I was looking at maybe trying soon. Ap-pro.ru and also Ap-pro.ru Call of misery, he just posted a new video on it too showing off some features, both already in Misery and some new even. Beta release should be end of this month sometime.

I've been using AO still till Stcop is updated a bit more. And of course on master, there's no other way to play in my book. But I don't have the hardcore aim on cause let me tell ya, they're already gonna be sniping you and getting lucky shots still. Like I'm pretty decked out now in my save, gotten pretty far. Just yesterday finally upgraded my exo to where I can sprint now and I'm still getting sacked easy. But since I've got an exo now and a partly upgraded pkm, I've upped the spawn density a bit and it's kicking my *** still with good gear but it's fun. Quick saving is your friend, if you're iron manning it. Just check corners and make sure your cover is sold.
I hate having crosshair on personally, not so much cause i'm like oh no my immersion but more so I don't like it when i see it aiming down the sights. But it defintely is useful. You might just want to renable mini map though or use that mod that makes it so squads appear on mini map like in Clear sky which is highly useful for that last bit you said. Or use binoculars since they put red squares around enemies.
(also that bit about the tracers, you can disable those if you want by tweaking but if you use that personal preference mod for stcop or ao he makes it so they're normal tracers again and he tightens them up abit so they aren't so out of place. I rather enjoy the regular ones over those colored ones)

Still gonna try it out cause as is even with my own tweaks, master difficulty and setting rules for myself COC is quite easy. I mean yeah I die from random bullets, that's a given on master but I get rich so fast so I'm looking forward to the economy and the artifact thing. If I recall from reading the pack it also said it was using the autumn addon from here, so in theory you could just delete all of that stuff and use the pre packed COC files for the levels cause I doubt that all ties in with say the guns or the other features of the mod. Besides I'm totally gonna re-add the winter mod again even if it is a bit odd in some places. I feel like that'd be a really nice touch to Misery, the colors can get a bit dull after a while but until someone ports Absolute Nature it's one extreme or the other it seems haha.
At least I can make the snow a pretty red now.
