That doesn't mean that they have to be a crappy carbon copy of russia with the only difference being the name. I mean their flags are DESKTOP WALLPAPERS found on google for gods sake. It makes the mod look cheap, like a 13 year old who found out how to modify banners with paint by copy pasting a poster from google on every banner. They did a wonderful job on the new orange swazi reich flags that were also just a bunch of nazi desktop wallpapers originally. Also I remember requesting them to make the khergits into the imperial japanese because the khergits were based on communist china who didn't exist yet nor did they have any relevance and I was downvoted to hell for requesting it and the developers replied something like this - "This mod is not trying to be a complete copy of the times we are trying to depict, this mod will have its own storyline and original countries." Well where is that originality now? I mean if you want them to look like a complete copy of the soviets at least use normal soviet flags instead of posters if making your own flag is so darn hard. And if you say that you have no time for this stuff, I can gladly do this flag thing for you you just need to ask.

The flags need work. Right now they just look like some communist themed desktop wallpapers taken from google images and put inside the game as a flag. This will not do. Come on, be original, this is not the soviet union this is a completely independent communist republic, create your own flags that use more colours than just red and yellow.
Here you can see some flags of communist countries. You can take inspiration from them to create the new flag for the Vaegirs

Everything looks great in my opinion but I think you should still change the vaegri flag from that generic hammer and sickle into something more. Just look at some soviet republic flags for inspiration or something

I think khergit khanate should be imperial japan from world war 2 instead of communist china, communist china didn't even exist yet back in the period you guys try to reflect and japan would work a lot better in this mod just a suggestion of mine so no need to go mad fellow commentators

I know it's early but I advise adding a little park there in the middle with some benches and fountains and some asphalt roads would be great even though there are no cars it would create this america feel

I heard from numerous sources that he only shaved it when the war ended because it looked not full and it represented lands taken away from germany or something like that and he was planning to regrow it to pre world war I after he get's all germanies lands back and the war is over

Looking at the sword in this picture makes me think that you should make the Khergit Khanate into Imperial Japan from ww2 or something like that
