I have 3 of 4 rar files downloaded so far; 5.86GB x3 +4.32GB - this is a huge mod. Yet, in the "Install Guide" it states:
"This mod is meant to be used with the 32 bit version of the game, as the 64 bit is globally unstable with custom textures and objects."
Strangely, I read this quote from Wikipedia: "32-bit [.exe] processes on 64-bit Windows are also limited to 2 GB. However, they can use the "large address aware" flag as well, except that it doesn't require the /3GB switch and increases the limit to 4 GB."
If your mod is not stable enough be used with the 64 bit version of Crysis, then why after all that hard work would you only release it in 32 bit .exe that forces all those new enhanced graphics to only be bottlenecked into 4 gigs of system ram??? I have 32 gigs of system ram and 8 gigs of video ram. I hope my reasoning is correct. If not, please help me understand why a mod 21.9 GB would only be stable in a 32 bit exe compiler?? Does your 4k and 8k mod version also only run in 32 bit.exe ??
Until this mod is developed enough to run smoothly on a 64bit.exe, I'll just hold back from downloading it for now.
