it doesn't feel like a menu. maybe have a think translucent bar going through middle (horizontally) and placing those buttons on it?

Lovely bits of music.
This is genius. Best of luck during the dev process.
Check again. It is.
What's the point of Desura then?
Desura needs some high quality games, too. If everything good gets sold on Steam, what's the point?
Looks like a nice game, and $10 is a good price. Will there be a demo?
I'm tracking the **** out of this game. Looks really promising and I'll be sure to send a donation when I get the chance.
I think when people say Source is getting outdated what they're really talking about is that the feel of the engine is dated. You can just tell and feel that it's from an older era of gaming. Honestly, compare Source to Frostbite or CryEngine. It doesn't feel as natural; it's much more stiff.
I love the idea of a space combat game, but this is the only one that looks interesting and unique.
can't wait for this game. such a great concept.

I love the product that's been put out so far, but the marketing for this game is aggravating with all its glory-grabbing. They call themselves indie, but act like AAA (the distinction between AAA and indie is one for gamers to decide, so quit trying to sell yourselves either way -- most people only use those as methods of categorization, anyway, not to decide which games to play). Indies are modest, being indie is not about a method of funding (only in the most technical sense). The next Call of Duty could be funded entirely by fans if that's how things went down.
Indies let the game speak for itself. Instellar Marines is not a weak product; it can stand on its own.
This looks amazing.
How is this the Source engine? The movement is natural. I honestly can't believe this is Source; it behaves like a modern game.
Looks like someone needs to learn the difference between "it's offensive" and "I'm offended".
"especially because of the flippant and aggressive methods you use to promote it."
You should blame Escapist for the promotion. I wouldn't even know about this if they didn't have that article.
"I remember Duke Nuckem, Red Alert, and C&C."
RA and C&C are T, last I checked.
" Way to hurt hundreds of people to make a point "
I don't think they're trying to make a point. I think they're doing it because they thought it'd be funny to see everyone's reaction, like yours. MISSION ******* ACCOMPLISHED.
Nuh uh guys. CoD4 redefined EVERYTHING. Every game is plagiarizes Infinity Ward.
/sarcasm
Hahahaha. Yeah, don't mind all the zombie mods or the mods that riff on Half-life's story. That leaves like 2 HL2 mods with original premises. Get real.
What this game lacks in "setting originality", it makes up for with awesome maps and unique gameplay. I've wanted to see a (FPS) game where two factions play differently for quite some time now. Also, I don't know how big these maps are, but exploring the gameplay possibilities of having a huge map is something most groups shy away from and I'd like to see how it works here.
This can't be Source.
Well, this is a Moddb contest, not an all mods on the web contest. If they want a Moddb award, they should do something on Moddb.
This mod is gonna **** up all the other mods.
Single player requires a lot more man-hours, due to lots more scripting and mapping, and the tons of artwork needed. But yes, it would be cool.
The mapping quality is superb. Nice work.
That transition was really cool. If it would stitch the two video streams at the seams, it would be even better.
I'd move the bottom hook of the G up a bit, so that way it occurs approximately in the middle of G. Other than that, it's great.
