I just realized I was not playing the latest version last night when I posted my comment. I was playing the advanced version.

Today I downloaded the latest extreme version and played some of the campaign. I was really glad to see some of the issues I had addressed in my last post had already been fixed, like the AI bug when you swapped weapons in SP.

I really love where this mod is going and it has definitely become my favorite SP mod so far. I tried some MP too, but in my opinion this mod makes the single player an incredible experience. It shines a lot more than the multiplayer.

This being said though, I am afraid that as of now I can't give the mod more than 8/10 as rating. I'll explain why.

First of all there's a big issue in the campaign. When I played the advanced version, the campaign followed pretty much the vanilla standards but with an improved system. Now that I play the latest extreme version however, while playing the campaign you are forced onto the next mission without entering the briefing screen. This is gamebreaking because: you are not allowed to customize your force powers (I had to proggressively add them manually through console because some missions just require them, especially push/pull/jump), it skips important bits of story (even the training with luke after your first bunch of missions) and not entering the briefing screen seems to not trigger certain events. With this I mean for example the prison mission. Once I beat Rax Joris and claimed my lightsaber back, the Vjuun mission loaded quickly after and I spawned with no saber. Of course I had to give it to myself again through console commands.

Unlike other comments I've read, I don't dislike that much the introduction of prequel enemies such as SBDs and Droidekas; I suppose they were used to increase the game's difficulty, but they are quite unimmersive. I'd rather add more reborn/sith or other vanilla enemies to make the experience more enjoyable.

Another bug which wasn't on the previous version I played was the invisible blaster bolts coming out of certain weapons (SBDs and pistols I'm looking at you). It's not a huge deal and it is definitely not gamebreaking unlike the other issues I stated above, but it would be a really nice detail to fix.

Please keep updating the mod and I beg you to fix what I just posted. This mod would be a solid 10/10 if those things were fixed.

Love your work and thanks to your mod I feel like going through my childhood all the way again with this game. Thank you so much!

Really love this mod, it surely takes some time to get used to the new blocking system, but it is definitely worth it. I am not sure if it is just me, if you have already noticed, or if it is due to coding difficulties but, the animations look way smoother on multiplayer than in singleplayer: in the sp version some animations stutter a lot, like the walking animation with saber off for example.

On a friendly note from a huge fan who has already beat the game with your stystem multiple times and keeps giving it a go: The trandoshans with lightsabers and mandalorians are a bit too much. I wouldn't mind dueling the mandalorians as much if they didn't have that ridiculous amount of HP, but trandoshans with lightsabers and force powers are a big no for me.
Don't get me wrong, the idea is neat, but it is really unimmersive and sometimes a pain to deal with, especially when you are just starting out.
Regarding the mandalorians: As you keep progressing they become easy to beat, but they still have too much HP. at early stages of the game I'd even say mandalorians are way more difficult than sith masters because of their HP for example, and that is kind of silly.

One last thing I'd like to point out: The gun changes are amazing, really love how you can actually take out enemies with single shots if you are precise enough. I have noticed a gamebreaking bug however: after successfully switching from your lightsaber to any gun, enemy gunners will only shoot at you for a brief moment, then the AI kind of bugs out and stutters in place, sometimes runs in circles but without shooting until you take your lightsaber out again. I really hope that is fixed since I love cycling through my weapons like I used to do in Jedi Outcast.

Keep up the good work!

EDIT: I've seen some negative comments regarding this mod. I also got frustrated at it at some point because of the lightsaber throw, the constant kicks gunners did and the sometimes weird damage outputs/inputs.

My experience became 10 times better after I had the brilliant idea of turning up the g_saberrealisticcombat all the way up to 20. AI gunners don't rush at you as often attempting to kick you and if they do, they just get dimembered after touching the lightsaber, as it should be. Kicks are often used as a last resort before I chop their heads off now. Duels are much more intense too with the increased damage and mandalorians no longer take 10 minutes each to kill.

I really recommend to whoever is feeling frustrated or wants to try something interestingly different to use g_saberrealisticcombat 20 with this mod.
