At first I hated it, after 20 mins I uninstalled it from CoP. A month later I came back to it and then I really discovered how excellent misery is. Stalker games were supposed to be about survival, CoPs visuals were lagging behind other games that year it was released. Misery adds so much more gameplay, you do actually need to plan your trips/missions, it really makes stalker games what they were supposed to be. The Zone is bleak, everything will kill you, everything. Misery also adds a notable item selection, some of my favourites are the Kar98k, AKM and some retextured vanilla guns like Streloks SiG550. Some of the Weapons included in the mod are not up to the quality of others, luckily these weapons are not in wide use and often only the player ends up using it.
The mod adds so much else though you do not even need to bother with those weapons.
