Try using a different Source Port like GZ DOOM: Devbuilds.drdteam.org

or zDOOM:
Zdoom.org

As Sarge said above make sure you're not loading your mods twice.

It'll conflict and you won't be able to play the game. If you're using Zandronum and also trying to launch through ZDL then you'll need to remove the mods from your "skins" folder inside Zandronum.

If you've placed your mods into the "skins" folder on Zandronum then you DON'T need to drag and drop the mods onto the executable, it'll load those mods automatically.

Hope this helped!

I use ZDL and it runs perfectly fine. (I know that means nothing on different hardware) Here's my load order: Puu.sh

Make sure you load all your game changing mods first, Brutal DOOM, maps and code altering mutators should be first, sounds and music second and HUD's should be last.

Here's the settings: Puu.sh

Hopefully if you're having issues this'll give you a bit of an idea how to get it working.

Yes you can use it with Brutal DOOM v20b.

To do this just replace the bd64_main.pk3 with brutalv20b.pk3, make sure you leave the bd64_maps.pk3 active though.

I also forgot to mention you'll need to set up your client side Zandronum with the mods installed to join the servers as well.

To do this find the same folder as mentioned above Brutal DOOM 64 Zandronum and locate the "Skins" folder: Puu.sh in here make sure you put all the mods you want to use, here's what mine looks like: Puu.sh

I host my own servers for Brutal DOOM and Brutal DOOM 64. It sounds like you're running multiple mods of the same kind and they're conflicting.

This is how my DOOM Seeker looks: Puu.sh

To configure your DOOM Seeker launch it and click the "Options" tab and then hit the "Configure" button. After that a window like this will open up: Puu.sh in this window you can see that I have "Engines - Zandronum" selected click the [...] button next to "Path to Executable" when you've done this you will need to find where you have placed your Brutal DOOM 64 game files and then locate the Zandronum executable inside the folder it will be in the main folder, here's what mine is: C:/Users/CerealKiller/Desktop/zDOOM/Brutal Doom 64/bd64 zandronum.exe

After that your client is set up and ready to join other peoples servers.

If you're trying to host your own server then I can help you there too but I think my post is long enough for now so hopefully this solved your connection issues.

This mod needs Dedicated Servers.

My Ping is 400 And i can't play without lagging out. PLEASE Allow Private Server Hosting!!!

Or at Least LAN Servers Or Single Player.

Awaiting the Release of this. I've been to the official site and checked out all the media you've done a Incredible Amount of Work and put a whole lot of effort into this mod.

I am certain this will not be a disappointment upon release.

I'm no Stranger to this mod i played the Original and it was an enjoyable story.

However when my friend came to me and Said this guy was making a Remake of the Mod i was excited to see what he'd done.

However once i checked it out i was not just Excited i was litterally impressed with how much more this mod really is than just a Source Mod.

It looks like another game altogether. For this i say Congratulations you've shown us just how Powerful The Source Engine really is, and just how awesome of a Modder you really are.

Tracking this mod and awaiting the final Results.

I've been following this mod for a Couple of Months now and i must say,

I'm very impressed by it, i've not seen a Mod built on the Gold Source engine quite like this, The first time i looked at it i thought it was Source.

The game looks stunning, dark enviroments, Spooky Enemies, Horrific locations, and very well done Animations.

I hope to see more mods from you guys later in the Future.

Awaiting the Release of this mod.
