Players receive gold for inflicting damage on enemies as well as killing them. In fact, if a player is using a ranged weapon, they earn the same amount of gold for hitting an enemy as they do killing one. Many support heroes will likely have some ability to attack from a distance too.

Another new mechanic in Osiris is that gold is awarded to all players following the completion of a wave. This makes it possible for all players to progress at a reasonabe pace at worst. It also means support classes can earn gold just by being there.

This is something we're keeping an eye on however, and we're doing our best to make sure that support classes are economically viable for the ones playing them.

Yes, you may use the config from the initial version of Amber to run a 2.0 server.

Try redownloading the mod.

Macs have issues displaying custom text fonts. Navigate to your mod folder and do the following:
1) In the 'Data' folder, delete 'FONT_DATA.xml'
2) In the 'Textures' folder, delete 'FONT.dds'

That should resolve your problem.

Ensure you have 'Load Textures on Demand' enabled in the pre-game launcher.

It would be helpful if you could provide more details about the crash itself. Such as any error messages or the point in loading during which it crashes.

You install Amber in the same way you do most mods for Mount and Blade: Warband; by downloading the mod archive and extracting it to your modules directory. If all else fails, you can always try redownloading and trying again.

You will need Warband version 1.168 or later to be able to run Amber.

Bans from polls last exactly one hour. You will be able rejoin the server after that time.

Gun sounds do not work in LAN games for the current and previous versions of the mod. This issue has been corrected for Amber.

There is a known issue with the Skeletons faction that can cause infrequent crashes. There is nothing you can do to remedy it right now, although, this problem has already been resolved for the upcoming Amber update.

The main menu displays the incorrect version number, currently. Provided the mod folder is named 'FI2 v0121' and you are able to join servers, you have nothing to be concerned about.

The mod folder should be named 'FI2 v0121'. If not, it should be renamed as such.
