Problem solved: 1.You take a copy of your "user.ltx" from your " my documents / stalker call of pripyat " located on driver " C " and then put it in call of chernobyl folder / appdata.

2.Start call of chernobyl to overwrite sayd transfered file , close the aplication and go modify "user.ltx" that you copyed there, go to the end of the big wall of text and you will find " vid_mode 1024x768 " modify it to your prefered resolution . for example " vid_mode 1920x1080 ".

3.Problem solved, open the game and enjoy.

Sorry for the misspell , not my first language, hope this helps somebody with the same problems.

I have this problem here, I use a tv with 1920x1080p resolution / 16:9 and the game starts in full screen with an unsuported resolution that results in " without signal " on the tv but the game audio runs in the backround . there is a way to change the resolution of the game out side of it ? Like changeing the " user.xml " file like I did in CoP ?
