The aesthetic looks like a fusion of Deus Ex and Mass Effect. I like it.

In the upcoming LOTR game (I assume you're talking about War in the North) you won't be able to do half of what they're proposing with this mod. From everything I've seen, you get the dwarf tank, the human damager, and the elf mage. Given, they are customizable, but only within those constraints. In this mod, you can play dwarf, human, hobbit, ork, elf, from nearly anywhere in the world, using any combat style you wish. You can already explore places like Minas Tirith (which is freakin awesome by its self, BTW) and hobbiton in what they've just released now. I doubt that you'll have such freedom in War in the North. Add in the famous battles of Helm's Deep, and The Black Gate, the MERP team is offering an experience that no licensed LOTR game has been able to deliver. This is a volunteer effort, meaning it's a game by fans, for fans; not by publishers for profit. There's no impatiant executive looking over their sholder, telling them to sacrifice gameplay for an early release, or dumb down mechanics so it can be ported to a console. This is a labor of love, and already I've seen more quality then I have from any major publisher.
those weapons weren't built for humans (I know, why would robots use separate weapons when they could just as easily build the machine with a weapon attached?), and the strongest of humans is still fleashy and squishy. I don't know what kind of ammunition those things spit out, but I'm pretty sure it's more powerful then your average 5.56 mm round.
You have to remember that they're machines. front line models wouldn't have a sense of self preservation, and would only be concerned with killing you. Single units, on important assignments would have this feature, but in a fire fight scenario, ducking for cover is a liability when you can just steadily push back the line. If they lose a few units, they can always build more.
Minimum time required to replace a human soldier: 16 years
Maximum time to replace a machine soldier: 72 hours
get the picture?
yeah, assassination and decapitation are great, but show the bare body of a beautiful woman and you're suddenly corrupting children. Ask your parents why they have no problem with violence but sex is an absolute no no.
And the Lord did grin, and the people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats...
I can smell you... feel your air...
well, there's a problem there, in that it's not widely available. it's 8 years old, they don't exactly carry it at best buy. best you can hope for is a family member who bought it when it came out, eBay, or download.
My grandpa had it, and got bored with it, so now it's mine. played it a couple of times, and it's really cool for its time. very buggy, but still fun.
haha, decades of training for each of them, and only one jedi is left standing.
as I recall, a borg cube could be as huge as the deathstar.
there wasn't much of this mod shown, all it was was a collection of the other DLC's released and then the end of the preview to New Vegas.
some shots of the actual DLC would be cool.
though I like the allusion to Supernatural.
alright, who left the xerox machine running?
just downloaded it, and played a little, but because I'm working on my on board vid card (my other one melted), graphics are all messed up. Right after I get my new video card and save up $30 bucks, though, i'm paying these guys for it.
is it just the clone wars or do you get to see the post empire galaxy?
