Finally getting back into the swing of things with a new kitbash of Bacara, and trying out a new DC-15s model. While the model wasn't originally great, some magic and a smooth modifier later, the shaft is actually rather round. There are a few issues with it that I can't help, namely the fact the lower supports are a 2d mesh, and I can't have them face two ways.
I know there's a better way but copying the faces, flipping them, and then merging back to the original mesh can work too.
I never thought of that, I'll have to try it. Thanks for the tip.
So cool! :D
Pretty much what Sly said for the one sided face issue. Also if it isn't too much trouble it would be worth trying to add the side ear pieces to help nail the look better. Also can't help but notice the bandolier and shoulder pad are on the opposite side.
Great work, can't wait to see the Galactic Marines.
It's there, but I need to fix an issue with it. As for the bandolier, and shoulder pad, I can't exactly help that. Mirroring the mesh will only screw up how the textures apply after exporting it.
But anyways, thanks.
