Another one of my Stone Tablet drawings. Here is the representation of three earth gods and the separation of plains that make up the world. The lowest plain, closest to the earths core is the residing home of the once supreme earth god, locked in self imposed exile as he is the only one able to hold the upper layers of the world and the chains that hold the continental plates of the earth in place. In the upper level are his younger sibling deities, sharing the power of their older brother (here represented by a scepter that emits rays of light), each taking a certain aspect to govern and teach the mortals in the upper plane.The sister represents day, the nomadic way of life, war and wildlife, while the brother represents night, civilization, peace, urbanisation and domestication. The upper part represents the mortal plane with two tribes of early mortals shown approaching to a mountain temple bearing gifts and offerings to the gods.
