Description

A classical, shading-only drawing based on the idea of making another Greek inspired character, but with added serpent/reptilian elements. An extreme version of a male Gorgon with four arms, this character is named as the mythical Athenian king Cecrops, who was by legend half-human and half-serpent. This ambidextrous serpent-man is equipped with two identical swords and two shields, one a Hoplon and the other a Pelta variant. If the need arises, Cecrops can interlock his shields with the Pelta being above the Hoplon to form a bigger shield. When merged together the shields form the bronze image of a female Gorgon, showing Cecrops heritage and intimidating his adversaries.
