in shortcut i removed the version no., didnt work.
in big file its named "Complex Enhanced.big" with a space in between complex and enhanced....
so should i add 8.81 to the big file??
any ways i will try that.
also while giving target file name in shortcut do we have to consider even the upper case lower case the spaces between the file name like in complex enhanced (with a space) n all....??

fine done with downloading....did the steps as its done....made the shorctcut nd gave the taget line
-mod ComplexEnhanced8.81.big -nomovies -hardwarecursor -w xxx -h 768 -forceLAN -determcompplayer
but when i start it just the regular one starts not the complex enhanced.
where i might be wrong...
have installed complex 9.1, r.e.a.r.m, mass effect and homefront here they work fine....

MY DOWNLOAD SPEED ISNT EXCEEDING 40KB/PS....BUT MOSTLY STAYS AT 14 KB/PS....HAVE A HSD....3MBPS....

when do get to play the covenants???

so are the covenants now playable in this mod

also in the higaaran fleet....the sniper frigate/anti material frigates...their shot are blocked..as in when they fire the pulse beams from the turret the beam dosent leave the frigate only...its like 3 shot of 10 are actually fired.....for the remainder 7 i dont even see their beam....

yes i did troubleshot via pdf....
nd no there was no 'shaders' named folder in the in data folder.....
narrowed my prob to more specific....
in the campaign beta i can only play till mo4....mo5 the one with mining base keeps crashing as well....
and in skirmish i can only play with hig and progenitors the rest of the races will just crash.....

hi im having trouble starting the game....
installed the game as it was mentioned in the .pdf file
now when any game is loading it crashes at the end of loading....

also system spec include 2gb ram, i3 processor 2nd gen, intell 4000 graphic..but it even runs complex 9.1 smooth....

he y i think ai higaaran and vagyr both use some cheat....
vaygr builds a big fleet really quick dont know how the fish....
as for higaarans
they upgrade their mothership with battle asset really quick (like 30 mins or before) without battle shipyard...i checked 5-6 times using probes everywhere....
nd moreover where do they get so much resources that they keep building so many ships coz a lotta time it happened that ive got them to starve for res. by taking out all their res. collectors...but still (dnt say fusion coz that isnt much helpful without scavengers or refineries ;p)...
so some got any answeres for that???

hey help out anyone please......been trting to play complex 9 version for few days but i never get a hold of anything...to hard to hard for me to play...
is there any guide or strategy to play it....
i always play on easy but lose in like 10-15 mins...vagyr nd higaaran both are hard handle...so much of detailing....
downloaded coz i heard a lot about it...would love to understand how homeworld 2 complex game works...

hey i too am facing the same problem.
along with this there is one more issue, there isnt a proper description/ name for any map but it shows $9000, $9001 etc..; for classes like alliance, reapers, crebs,..etc something similar number after '$' sign; for the ships almost same name like for alliance fighters (1st class torpedo launcher, 2nd class torpedo launcher 3rd class torpedo launcher and third class topredo launcher...) its pretty confusing...
