Before joining the gaming industry I was a freelancer artist involve in illustration and graphic design since the age of 17 years old. Both position left a great impression on me to focus my artistic skills for visual communication and problem solving to help sell a client's product. Afterward, I got into video games as the next challenge not only for playing, but to compliment my artistic talent to the industry as concept artist. Working with a couple of indie gaming projects that I was responsible for UI, storyboard, logo, character and environment design. The experience pushes me to take a more lead and activate role as a game designer to create proper structure of game play and mechanics, lead art, story line, scenarios and level design.

Report RSS Taken Care of Business and Working Overtime!

This week we finally updated the layout to the Options and Control Menu and now facing the main objective of setting up the asteroids for each level while taken care of a few bugs on installing the new item called the eradicator star. The problem was to set it in place based on where the yellow asteroid is shot at, and when the player shooting it will vaporize any asteroids and missile onscreen. Right now both are not working and still testing it. We include a white flash effect for the input when vaporized, and it will be tested also as soon it is finish. As soon as the asteroids are set for each level and the eradicator star problem is solved is when possible of finally go ahead create the trailer and look for a publisher for our game. That is it for this week update and news, but stay tune for new development when available.
