I know the map you mean but I can't remember the name - it won't work with Ultimate Apocalypse though as it starts you off with one of each production building for each race - Ultimate Apocalypse has different production buildings than vanilla so the map won't work with this mod
Soulstorm is a very old game on a very old game engine, it's not really built to handle the amount of units, flashy fx and whatnot in UA. So even a top tier PC will have issues at some point with the mod

We don't have an exact time, but we do know that every person asking when it's going to be ready makes it get released faster
I agree on the turrets. I feel there should be a limit to how many turrets you can have per HQ, perhaps not the vanilla limit, but say something like 6 turrets per HQ. Or perhaps start with a smaller limit that increases each tier.
I think titans are fine, I have begun to find them to 'spammy' late game, so I play with Titan Wars turned off, so it isn't simply titan army vs titan army by late game.
I agree with your point about the nukes, perhaps there needs to be something besides a cost increase - maybe unit and research speed would be reduced should you choose to build a nuke, until the nuke is ready? Or some other cost/penalty to make nukes more of a last resort.
There is an ability in the Daemon's HQ which lets you drain health from one your own squads to gain relic resource at an increased rate.

Ah, I just wasn't sure if the bonus from 4 t1 pgens was bigger than the bonus from one t3 pgen or not

I usually replace all the engineers with SCU's late game for experimentals and some T3 stuff. The SCU's don't have the build speed of an ACU, but they're a lot faster than engineers
So I made a thread in the feedback while ago about build times being too slow, I wasn't keen on the long build times for certain experimental units and high tier pgens. But I've played the mod a lot more now and I take back what I said!

Just wanted to ask, has the range on the experimental teleporter been increased at all? I'm asking due to the increased build time, it's one of the few things I've never bothered to finish building in a match.
Ah and will experimental warp pillars ever make a return? I know they're more of an aesthetic thing, and aren't functionally different from the current experimental factories/gantries, but I think they're a lot cooler!

Will it ever be possible for more than one engineer to work on one building? The way it was in FA? I think that would be really helpful for late game experimental/T3 buildings
Hmmm, the game seems to freeze around 5 minutes in, with multiplayer at least, 4 games in a row, we tried different people hosting, anyone else having this issue?
I know I'm probably the seven millionth person to ask about campaign, but if I was to manually re-enable the campaign mode the way Bread suggested below me, would it be extremely buggy? (I mean, I'm guessing there's a reason campaign was removed from the main menu in UA/THB)
I meant because they go down so quickly vs other races titans, since they only have 20k HP and no other defenses -.-
I should have worded it better: They are useless vs other races' titans unless you swarm them. They're still useful vs non-titan units
I've noticed that with Necrons, the Production Grid ability is no longer present on any Necron units, when it used to available on all Doomsday Monoliths, Restored Monoliths and Aeonic Orbs. I'm hoping this is a bug or something to be remedied as it makes Necron titans useless due to their low HP, lack of shields, and lack of Production Grid ability, barring Gauss Pylons (because of their really long range)
Also the Chaos Warp Storm has been seriously nerfed, the duration is so low now it makes it barely worth using, this is even worse seeing as Chaos have no other actual nukes
Yes, there's no reason it wouldn't be. But multiplayer doesn't work on disk, only on Steam
It's highly unlikely, as the UA team probably want to focus on perfecting the Soulstorm release. It would take quite a bit of time to redo the whole mod for DC, and to keep updating it the same as with the SS version
Though I'm not sure why you'd want/need a DC version, unless you don't own Soulstorm O.o

How do you use textures, objects and such from Soulstorm in the Dark Crusade Mission Editor?
I know there is a tutorial somewhere about extracting texture/object folders from SS, and putting them in a My_Mod folder, but Mission Editor won't load a map when I do that, it says something like "Failed to find/activate My_Mod.dll/.module" how do I fix this?
Online multiplayer doesn't work on the disk version. You can get the Steam version for free though if you have the disk version

Recently got into playing Chaos, just thought I'd give some feedback. I played my first competitive UA game today, I won, the other guy said the mod was broken, or that Chaos was, and I agree, to a certain extent, with some units:
-He would have wrecked me with his huge infantry force (he played SM) if not for my 2 Chaos Sorcerors, which, as much as I enjoyed abusing them, I felt were a bit OP. I disbaled his infantry a lot with the Slaanesh ritual ability (I had the Nurgle ritual ability on my 2nd sorceror) it wasn't so much the damage, but the ability to completely disable infantry, on a global scale, so often. I feel the recharge time on ritual abilities should be longer
-The Chaos Sorcerors (which seem to be so much better than the Sorceror Lord, is it meant to be that way?) have a multitude of offensive abilities, some could be used twice per Sorceror, this helped me push back his forces a lot when they weren't getting destroyed by the multiple free Chaos Shrines I was summoning from my Sorcerors. Perhaps take away a couple of offensive powers from the Sorcerors or something
Those are the only 2 bad things I can think of, I'm not whining, I just thought I'd give my 2 cents (I know Chaos aren't finished yet)
I really like the voice for the Chaos Reaver Titan, sounds awesome!
I think Chaos have one of the best Superweapons in terms of cost-power balance, but not to the point of being OP
Sorry if this has been asked before, but, will daemons be completely/partially removed from Chaos in the next update when Daemons are playable again as a race?
Found the solution to this if anyone has the same problem. When using a hacked exe to allow Soulstorm more than 2GB, the hacked exe must have EXACTLY the same name for everyone that's playing in an online game, else it won't work
