This addon is great, even when just the AI have the exo suit. I engaged some military in cordon by the mill and quickly found that I was out matched. As I hid in the building waiting for someone to poke their head in I hear the sound of an exo approaching. I was genuinely terrified as I had a pistol and a shotgun, so an exo would be a problem. Luckily I found that the exo was being worn be a freedomer who's squad helped me survive the military encounter.

This is a very cool addon and I really like the concept, but there are a few issue imo. First, I had the double feed jam on a double barrel shotgun, small nit pick and not really a big deal. Second, if you find a cool gun with bad parts, you can buy a cheap variant with good parts and swap them with almost no hassle. I did this with a cz75 pistol, the parts were bad so I bough a cheap and available browning hi-power and swapped the parts (I don't think it's the addon but for some reason the cz 75 has a SA trigger instead of DA/SA). Lastly, it might be good to have some sort of patch for full percentage parts, because if you play with full percentage it becomes about 10x harder to find parts over 75%, as the game tends to drop lower condition parts and round them up to 75% when full percentage parts is turned off. A cool work around might be to repurpose some of the regular repair kits and have them work on slightly more worn parts, similarly to how they worked on guns before. Apart from the above, I think this addon is really good, being able to replace most parts without having to pay for a vice and repair kit is great. Thanks for your work.

I'd just discovered this too, I'm not sure how the anomaly devs did it, but I'm assuming that your mod was focused on dx9 and my patch was focused on dx11.

That's strange, you have the original anomaly scopes revision installed I assume. could you send me your:
gamedata\configs\ui\scopes_16.xml
gamedata\configs\ui\textures_descr\ui_ingame.xml
and a screenshot?
edit: you could try and reinstall both this and the original ASR mod to see if it helps

you can remove the rad effects by editing the script file. You just have to remove the last two paragraphs in the file (they both start with if db.actor.radiation). Just make sure that you leave the "end" text in the right place.

You could also maybe make hatchet sell stuff so that you aren't as tempted to kill him for his loot. It would make a good source of western rifles.

Edit: Something that might also help is installing Absolute Nature 4 over misery, it's completely compatible and has helped improve performance for some people thanks to more optimised textures, just make sure to set the FOV to 83 in the installer so that the arms and weapons don't clip through the screen!

I had a similar problem when I first installed TAZ. I reinstalled COP, Misery and Taz, launching a quick test run to make sure that everything was working between steps and it helped massively with crashes, though I still get some because I run on dx11 and I am willing to put up with that. When it comes to fps, the directX version helps, but another setting that causes a HUGE impact on performance is the sun shadow setting; it's just a little tick box in the advanced video settings. With it turned off I get over 100 fps, but with it on I get 30-40 at times, depending on the in-game weather. This is largely because of the game engine and not TAZ, my pc rarely uses more than 20% of my GPU while playing misery, this plus the RAM and threads limitations are just some of the downfalls of the old Xray engine and fixing these issues is near impossible. If you want a very optimized misery-like experience then try Anomaly. It is a Call of Chernobyl mod so don't expect a story, but the devs for it have managed to create a functional and relatively stable 64bit version of the Xray engine and it is (to my knowledge) currently the only proper 64bit mod available that actually works. Sadly, this 64bit magic likely wont be transferred to misery or TAZ because it would require the entire engine to be rebuilt and the entire mod rebuilt on top of it, so we have to make do with what we have.

I spawned some in and I have to say they are very nice, so far like the MK18 CQBR, I just prefer its picatinny rails over the M4A1's handguards, however I have not been able to find the other variants in the spawn menu /:
That being said, I did notice that one of the custom M4A1's has the same item icon as the CQBR MK18.
I cant wait to find the rest of them in game, then I can properly pick favourites (:

New game not required, this is extremely convenient, thanks (:
Edit: would it be possible to line up the Beretta 682's sights, or does that cause the model's stock to clip through the camera?

I didn't mean that you would have the weapon physically have a different mag, I just thought that it could be one of the upgrades as increased magazine capacity is mentioned in the description.

I found that the ar-15 6.8 SPC doesn't have an upgrade tree, do you plan on adding one? It would be cool if you could make one of the upgrade steps a "replacement magazine" because the description says that the rifle mags only have a 25 round capacity because they are standard 5.56 mags and not the 6.8 SPC ones, so having the upgrade "swap out the magazines" would make more sense than just increasing capacity for no reason.
