Those so called "basic functions"? I doubt it is one major reason why this mod is so underwhelmingly perceived by the community. Give me some examples, apart from shrub and lacking etkey system. Admins like to play around their little cvars, huh? O-o

As for your addons, the source is now free to use: Github.com Feel free to offer it to broski moskis or whatever.

As for "potential": my plans for the future are bug fixing (especially some synchronization issues), then shrub, etkey system, extended lua interface, improving the xpsave, and finally weapon skins. Those are the biggies for me at this moment. But i am not developing hq at the moment.

If this does happen to you then most likely there is a problem with the shared libraries. The mod uses lua 5.1.4 and sqlite 3 and if they can not be found (et.exe folder or system path) or are incompatible with your operating system then you get this error.

Sorry about, i will avoid using shared libs in next release.

Some real quality, the best pack for hq so far!

For quick testing i recommend setting the price and rank to 0. Test on a server with cheats enabled (thirdperson view all that stuff...). Don't forget to give yourself rank 1 with "\give skill" so you can test the hardcore nice rankskins (really sexy stuff).

Tipp: if you want to change prices or other parameters in your mod.cfg while running this pack on a frequently visited community server, then it is best to let clients not download a whole new pack each time you make a change to /mods/mods.cfg. So extract that file, change it to your likes, and rezipp it. Give it a common naming scheme, for example zz_modscfg_v1.pk3, zz_modscfg_v2.pk3, etc. Remember to keep your hq folder as clean as possible and that every file the server references will be referenced by clients. For your own good don't be messy, always have one data pack with the skin, tga, jpg stuff, and if you want to have multiple versions of mods.cfg, then go for what i just wrote above.

If you want to use it, download it, and place it in hq folder. You must place it in server first, so clients can download it.

You can also make your own cc pack. This is just an example. Take a look in manual if you want to define your own cc pack.

The zoom+/- and the limbo state thing are on my list for quite some time now.

The problem with the limbo menu is that i currently use the animation code from the client. I need to decouple it in future.

Zoom is on the list as well. I plan to make a button on left side for that. It will simply toggle between head and complete view.

A complete 3D perspective (like in Radiant, where you can fly around) is too much work for me.

The pilot goggles are Thunders work, he did a great job on the HQ WW2 pack.

Just some question: do you maybe know some good skinner for ET. I have made a todo file in the WW2 character custom pack, so if anyone here reading this is capable of doing that, i would be very grateful. I have absolutely no skill at all in these things, but i need to get them done to make the pack better.
