A Humble Introduction - Review news - The Humbled Scribes

For this I'd like to recommend a few things that caught my attention this past week.A Few games and mods I think should get additional recognition! A List of games/Mods or whatever seems cool to me or interesting.Things that may deserve some more love and affection.

GriefHelm (A indie game) - Moddb.com

A brief Description from it's developer - 'Griefhelm is a dueling game like Nidhogg, with a 3-directional combat system, meaning that you will need to choose the direction of attack and to avoid getting hit, you'll need to block in the correct direction, or dodge the hit by simply moving (this won't always be an option though).
There are three attack directions (Up: Overhead Slash, Mid: Slash, Down: Thrust). The directional blocking is done through a stance system. For example, if the player is in the stance with the sword up, he'll block incoming overhead slashes. " - Johnnylonack

I have to say Griefhelm has a ton of potential to be quite a good fighting game in all regards,I plan on testing it out again a few more times to make a nice detailed review so stay tuned!

My input on warsword conquest is that it's simply EVERYTHING I COULD'VE ENVISIONED for a warhammer fantasy mod,They did so much work on it over the years and even transferred from the original moddb to warband,Even then it was glorious.Updates are coming out fairly consistently with various images of units and new textures.Very very well done mod in the making.Do follow and track them as usual to get every juicy detail from those folks,If I was IGN i'd give them almost a 10/10 man.

  - The prophecy of pendor does hold up to all of this,It's a all around good RPG mod for warband with a beautiful laid out backstory and all sorts of other lore that truly shape it up.Very challenging for those who are novices in warband. The combat is truly rough and the management can be tedious and sometimes very rewarding if you play your cards right.Fierce bosses too man,It's overall very difficult but at the same time quite immersive.I'd give it a good shot anyday,Do check them out if you don't mind.It is quite a journey! Their team is fairly active too and answer quite a bit of the questions,I Hope too get more active around their page to cut them some slack on that front in due time.

  Outright one of the most greatest mods I've ever seen show up in the warband community.It's potential is staggering,I've never seen anything like it and I sure do hope you head over there and show them some love and support them everywhere as they attempt to do something this glorious for all of us warband fans!
  
  A Wide assortment of revolutionary techniques and creative agenda that i think warband is not ready for! Seriously this is wild!

  This mod has truly made me invest hours into to destroy the rebel scum and take out the droid scum too,Truly makes me immerse myself into the universe of star wars as I take planet upon planet upon planet and build my large imperial or clone fleets to destroy any who oppose me whether it be the rebels or the empire,It's a great space management game too.RTS,All around beautiful game and with the assortment of mods like this,It truly makes it 10x better.All around a great mod with quite alot of units,features and maps to invest yourself into with friends or just to do some solo conquest.DO CHECK IT OUT because it will really satisfy that star wars galactic conquest lust I know you have within you!
