Mitt was born in Detroit on March 12, 1947. His mother, Lenore, gave up an acting career when she met and married his father, George. Mitt's father came from humble origins and never graduated from college. He apprenticed as a lath and plaster carpenter and sold aluminum paint before beginning a career that brought him to the head of American Motors and then the governorship of Michigan.
Mitt married his wife, Ann, in 1969. They first met in elementary school when he was a Cub Scout; he remembers tossing pebbles at her when she rode by on a horse. When they met again years later at a friend's house, he was smitten. Between them, they have five sons and eighteen grandchildren, who are the center of their lives.
Ah Mittens.
I'm a Conservative Republican, but I don't like Romney that much. Although Paul Ryan seems like a decent guy. At least we got that going for us.
Would you have considered Ron Paul? It sounds as though the media did not...
Ron Paul was actually my preferred candidate.
I also thought Herman Cain seemed to be good, way back when.
Unfortunately they both got shot down in the Primary. :/
Hes not a bad guy, some people don't like him because he's a morman.
I dont see a problem with that i know lots of good mormons.
His real problem is he blunders alot, which hasnt exactly helped him.
I will wait and see he hasnt shown me enough yet for me to decide bewteen him and obama.
Obama and Romney are both d*ckrats. If I were old enough, I would refuse to vote for either of them and try for a 3rd party. Too many Americans are trying to compromise- there is no middle ground here, both are funded by the same company and all politicians have their own agenda outside the interest of the American people. I'd throw in my vote for choice 3.
3rd parties only detract from the lesser of two evils... I feel your pain, I do. There was talk of Ron Paul running as a third party, but I don't see it happening.
