As a cynic there's only one thing I have come to truly deeply despise and take some measure of offence to; these people who at the mere presence of criticism cry "hater," referable to as simpletons, dimwits, intellectual cowards, nincompoops, ect.
Who can even tolerate intolerant haters? YouTube seems to be FULL of them for some reason. It's hard to have an intelligent discussion on YouTube. Without at least one person raging at you for making valid points:(
One advice: don't feed the trolls.

Except not all haters are trolls while most trolls are haters. While I agree that trolls should just get ingored not everyone that I manage to run into on YouTube is a complete troll.
Now the question is:
Why are you even attempting to have meaningful discussions on YouTube when you can have much better discussions here on moddb? ;)
So long as you make sure your arguments don't get personal, you can't go wrong.
In my experience, whenever you make a point opposing someone else's ideology it immediately becomes personal in their eyes :(

I know exactly what you mean. I point out how my classmates are distracted by entertainment and are ignorant of what goes on in the real world and they call me a hater. Dumb pussies can't face truth.
