Interesting, though you can still easily see it is based on the FN2000. Don't be afraid to experiment when making these kinds of weapons, use parts in crazy ways they weren't meant to be used for.

Basically what I'm trying to say is, go crazy! =D

It's sci-fi in the way a Mauser C96 is a DL-44 or a M1A1 Thompson is a M41-A1.

That being said... I like it :D.

Description

The stranded infantry rifle of the Imperial troops, The Modular Plasma Accelerator Rifle or MPAR is a deadly, efficient yet somewhat cheap rifle. Unlike conventional plasma rifles, this rifle uses a hybrid plasma-magnetic acceleration mechanism that uses a plasma coated magnetic acceleration coil to accelerate to plasma "bolt" at high velocity. While this gives the bolt a deadly penetration capacity and make it near impossible to enemy to doge it, it also takes away the signature "Burning effect" of the plasma weaponry as the bolt on impact centralizes on the impact zone instead of spreading all over the target. This was a feature the was acutally welcomed by the troopers as they were used to using Kinetic energy weapons. The rifle has a 35 round magazine and features two firing mode: full auto and a three round burst. However when firing in full auto, the gun must vent heat after every 20 rounds, something that many solders found very frustrating in combat situation. Attempt's were made to eliminate this problem, which lead to the development of the MPAC.
Scope: Mark 5 computer assisted all-purpose targeting scope.
Attachments: Various. Standard is a type 6 modular ordnance launcher.
One of my first attempts. Built this for a fan-fiction I am currently working on.
