*English forces are prepared for war after hearing of the Teutonic march to Brandenburg another christian kingdom.
The navy is dispersed and will soon begin landing troops in Normandy. A message is sent to the kings of France and Castille to prepare for war against this new "Prussian Empire". For they now threaten all of christindom.

*The Huge force comes into view of Brandenberg. The gates had just been closed and boarded up. Hundreds of Archers were on the walls and behind the gates, spear men were forming up.

An envoy was sent forwards and offered surrender, but they refused. Niteris deployed his forces around the main gate and prepared his siege equipment. Trebuchets and balistas opened fire on the city, raining down rocks and steel bolts.

Two great siege towers moved forward and prepared to board the walls. Men at arms took up positions inside the towers and some archers fired at the defenders through slits in the towers.

A battering ram encased in shields, moved forward and began battering away at the city gates. Arrows rained down from above but bounced harmlessly of the shields. Prussian archers returned fire, dropping any target that popped his head above the walls.*

OOC: For one, your attacking a christindom kingdom without the popes consent. You could be surrounded by enemies right now. And I havnt officially declared war yet on you. Just moved troops.

OOC: You know, the pope doesnt always have to say weather or not we can attack other Christian nations.

Look at the Swedes and Danes. Both are Christian yet no one musters thousands of men in their defense.

Realistically look at the 100 years war. The Pope neither approved of it or tried to stop it. The English and French fought out their war alone and no one tried to stop them.

So why are you all so freaking worried about the god dam pope. Your making him more powerful then he really is. Just like you did in the SW Rp by making Kairn more powerful then he was.

*The towers lower their gates and the First troops to get to the walls are Men At arms covered in plate. They jump down onto the defenders and cut them to pieces. Behind them, Hundreds of men at arms spill forth and kill the defenders on the walls.

The Gate is shattered as the ram makes its final bang. The gates fling open and splinters force the defenders to flee. Ritterbruders armed with Greatswords fight their way through the main gates pushing the stunned defenders back.

Men at Arms follow the Ritterbruders in and break off to the left and right and storm up the towers slaying all in their path and cut down the enemy from behind.

Archers manage to get out of the towers and onto the walls where they shoot at the defenders that were behind the gate. They manage to kill off a good number before they are shot at by enemy archers.

Outside the gates, Niteris forms up at the head of 200 Mounted Knights. They were covered in plate and carried Lances and swords with them.

"For Prussia!" Niteris shouted.

He surged his horse forward and the other knights charged after him. They drove their lances into the chests of the enemy defenders forcing them to back off and rout back to the city center.

The men on the other walls fired arrows as they too fell back to the city center where the City Duke was regrouping his remaining forces.

Hundreds of men from both sides lay dead or dying on both the walls and behind the gates. But the battle was not over yet for the defenders still fought on.*

*The Men At Arms form up in front of the ruined gate and prepare to finish off the remaining defenders. Behind a shield wall, they slowly move down the main street towards the city center.

Archers fire at the defenders from either the walls or the grounds and many defenders are killed from the volleys of arrows. The enemy archers return fire and kill many men at arms but the Prussian troops continue on marching.

Niteris and his cavalry ride off to the right and storm down the side streets, cutting down any defenders that hadnt retreated yet. As the Prussian Shield wall clashed with the defenders, Niteris and his knights slammed into the enemy right flank, cutting them down.

As the shield wall broke up, Ritterbruders armed with Greatswords come forward and hack their way through, leading the men at arms on to victory. The defenders morale was failing as they were forced back.

Niteris himself chopped the head off the Duke of the city. After this the Defenders threw down their weapons and surrendered. The flag of the city was lowered and the Prussian flag was raised at the top of the keep.

Riders were sent out to nearby hold fasts and towns that they were now under the rule of Emperor Niteris of Prussia. The ones who resisted were crushed with out compassion.

The Total looses were more then Niteris hoped but he could go on. 1000 Men at Arms lost, 300 Archers dead, 75 Mounted Knights dead. But most of the cities defenders were either killed or captured. And as most were simply townsfolk or farmers, they were allowed to return to their fields or shops so long as they never raised up arms against Prussian Rule.

Niteris gathered up the food and arrows of the city and left 500 men At arms and 500 Archers behind to defend the city until 1000 Men from Prussia could take over the defense.

The remaining Prussian forces turned away from the city and headed South East, towards the last free German Cities. These would prove harder to take but would be worth it in the end.*

And as soon as Niteris left with his army to conquer another area, the folk of the town he had just conquered rebelled because nobody was left behind to make sure they did not rebel :P

Description

*Niteris took his head of the huge force that marched behind. Since the day he was humiliated in front of his own men, he had not said more then a single sentence. He only muttered something about killing Ghorm.

The Army was on its fourth day towards Brandenberg, Niteris' first target. Having scared off hundreds of people, all who ran back to their lords and informed them off the marching knights, they have not suffered any resistance yet.

The force numbered 12000. It was the entire force of Western and Central Prussia. The Northern and Lithuanian hosts were taking over the defense of Prussia with 8000 Men.

The Main Prussian force was made up of 1500 Mounted Knights, 1500 Mounted Men at Arms, 2000 Archers, and 2000 Swordsmen Men At Arms, 2000 Prussian Spearmen armored in plate, and 3000 men at arms with bits of plate and mail and armed with halberds, spears, or axes.

Their food supplies were still numerous and would be greater after they took Brandenberg.*

OOC: This city is not apart of the HRE, it is a free city. but it will set a fire under everyone and soon everyone will be at war. :P you wanted civil war, and you got it.
