There seems to be a great deal of debate, particularly in the United States, regarding whether or not having a Central Bank is a good idea. Is the Federal Reserve- or Central Banks elsewhere- a good thing to have around?
Well, the problem is it's private property. A nation should have total control over the production of its own currency, not allowing some outside organization to do it for them. The only way this country could be more corporatist is if there were amendments blatantly handing corporations power in some way.
I'm almost sure someone will pull the gold standard out as something we should go back to but that would only suffocate the economy, as far as I'm aware.
I dunno, lol.
The bank should be owned by the government so that money would be the servant and not the master like it is now. I mean really who made a system where a government needs to borrow money and then pay it back plus interest later? It's completely illogical because where would the government be able to get interest free money to pay back the interest? (Maybe I just don't understand the debt system in which case correct me)
I think it should be under the control of the UN. I honestly have more trust in the UN over our government and have no trust whatsoever in corporations.
