This BIOS had a GUI?
So Intel "Upgraded" to the blue screen BIOS from this, then to the new UEFI BIOS's of the X-- series...
No relation. But this is like one of the earliest GUI Bioses ever made for the PC that's not strictly a dumbed down laptop or oem bios
Award Modular mimic'd the style of AMIBios prior to the WinBIOS, and they've never changed. AMIBios however made lots of fluctuations since then.
My BIOS history is pretty much: IBM - 198X Phoenix - 1990-1992 AMI - 1993-1996 Award - 1996-today
Gee, it looks so diffrent compared to the BIOS menu of the modern day.

If you've built a computer in 1993-1996 you either loved or hated this BIOS.
