Timeforce: Operation Robo-Hitler is a satirical RPG set in an alternate universe where Hitler is 40 feet tall, a robot, a vampire, and still a Hitler. You play the CHRONO-COMPUTER, a sentient super AI that controls a machine that can travel through time. Due to mistakes made by your master, the DIPSHIT TIME TRAVELER, Hitler is now almost unimaginably powerful. By controlling 40 of history’s greatest individuals, you will destroy Hitler and SAVE TIME ITSELF.
Hello true believers!
After last weeks exciting tutorial, this update will concern itself with implementing what it introduced. That's right, we'll be making our game more beautiful than ever before.
This update will focus on the gut hut, a location in the game where nazis store organs to turn into questionable medicine. Why do they do this? Because Hitler's doctor was really into giving everyone around him meth and weird animal hormone cocktails. Truth is very often times stranger than fiction.
We start with the interior of the building, where we apply a texture based off of old, faded wood (originally a kitchen cabinet).
The exterior is gray brick.
And the floor is gravel.
Next, we populate the room with furniture. In this case, barrels and shelves to hold barrels. Doors are also added at this stage.
Finally, we come to lighting. Although originally we went with a point source light tethered to a single object, we decided instead on a downward facing cone. The latter is volumetric, so it takes into account distance and shadows in a different way than our other option would have.
