The Swarm is a vertical space shooter made for the Gameboy Gam, a week long jam in November.
In The Swarm you must defend your base from a growing onslaught of aliens. With 5 levels of core weapon upgrades and 7 special weapons use all kinds of lazer and explosive death dealing tools to survive as long as you can.
You cannot be killed simply by alien fire, but the more damaged your ship becomes the slower it will move. Aliens that get past you will damage your base, when you base is destroyed you fail.
Get as high a score as you can!
