The AMC Squad is an epic story-driven FPS running on the Build Engine. It combines gameplay mechanics of retro-shooters with aspects of modern titles, complete with a story-driven narrative that spans over several episodes. Each episode is a full-length campaign featuring multiple varied locations to explore and many hidden secrets and collectibles to discover. Experience an overarching story that is loosely based on the worlds and settings of other classic Build Engine games. Pick from more than 8 different character classes, each with a unique loadout of items, weapons and abilities, and fight a large selection of different enemy factions that threaten the safety of the game world.

Hope you're all enjoying the art redux!

First off, a quick sidenote. Ion Fury has been released! If you're not familiar, it's a new Build engine game built by VoidPoint with Eduke32, worked on by some long term veterans of the Duke community. I can't recommend it enough if you're a fan of classic shooters. You can grab it either on Steam, 3DRealm's official website, or via GOG.com

The Next version of AMC

back to us now - we're working on a big technical update for the mod. Most importantly, the long sought after Polymost support, as well as the usual smattering of new content and art updates. Whilst we initially planned to push out a small patch, this has snowballed into another big update. Whilst this will mean another redownload of the mod (which we apologise for), it will be worth it.

Release date isn't too far away, but most of the team is busy playing Ion Fury. You should join them and give it your support too.

OpenGL, aka 'the mod will now actually use the GPU to render stuff' It also removes the view-skewing when looking up and down.
