Idea:

The idea comes from the Star Wars Rogue Squadron 3D game. However i've tried to re-design the game combat element with the Battlefield (DICE) games.


Features:

- Bots vs. Bots battle (50v50 currently)
- All units playable such as star ships and turrets
- 'Battlefield' like jet control(only keyboard yet)
- Speed determine maneuverability
- AI combat tactics behavior(patrol, defend, follow)
- Squadron system(small groups of teams and their Leaders)
- Battlefield system(regions where the battle take place)
- For ships, outer and interior view
- Level of Detail for better performance
- Pooling objects/effects
- Advanced camera control(escape camera, cinematic view, spectator view)
- Repair damaged vehicles
- Minimalistic user interface


Credits:

Most of the assets including music, textures and models are from 'Star Wars The Original Trilogy Mod' wookieejedi's wonderful collection and work.

I would like to admire (warfull, Brand-X, zookeeper, Axem, Galemp, Newman, Jacek, greyleader, swashmebuckle, bobbtmann) work from hard-light.net (models, textures and sounds):
- X-Wing, A-Wing, Y-Wing, CR90, GR75
- Tie Fighter, Tie Bomber, Tie Interceptor, Imperial Shuttle
- Mon Calimari, Star Destoryer

Also "Master Qui-Gon", "DTM" from www.xwaupgrade.com:
- Millennium Falcon, Outrider

Hello there!

I would like to show you some of the new features i've been working on.

Maybe the first changes what you can see is the new main menu. It's more responsive than the older one, it's more fitting for the task.

As i mentioned the UI, reworked in-game UI. Which hold the simplicity of the previous but there is a theme in it.

New turrets for Millenium falcon, CR90, and Star Destroyer. The turrets has an improved AI component with a new base.

Tie Interceptor gots a new interior view, which is pretty neat.

The rebel fleet got the updated mon calamari cruiser with Better interior lighting.

There are much more agent in the battlefield.

Finally the graphics is improved as well, updated high resolution skybox. Changed overall color theme with new post processing.

Main things lacking:
- Possibility of crashing my ship into stuff
- Properly scaled cruisers and destroyers. They are all too small compared to headhunters

That would be almost everything. Controls and stuff al pretty neat and playable.

I keep polishing the game, experimenting with procedural trench generation, heavily based on the Battlefront I (Dice) trench run.

Making textures and redefine the graphics making live and authentic usable cockpit computers.

Designing a level where's the ultimate goal defend the crusier through an asteroid field. Developing AI movement to keep track of moving object and dive bombing attack and laser attack.

Making some animations for the AT-AT and AT-ST.

As i saw, you have a really good time as well in the development, keep up the mood :) On the other hand i saw some pretty good game element, if you don't mind i would implement some of the features what you achieved!

I wish i had some usable cockpit monitors but it would be alot of work to be done maybe another day

All I am working on is multiplayer anyways rn lets hope it will work as it is a bit unstable but sure I would love to see even some of my features made by somebody else... That would be exiting :)

Still in development, to be honest, i used it to test my pathfinding solution in 3D space. Originally i wanted to look like Star Wars Rogue Squadron 3D's first level. I find that, it would be very cool. However i have to gather or create some assets for the level. Some time later i spare some time to put it in.
