A submod for Expanding Fronts (1.4.2) that changes some units for more lore accurated models.
No gameplay changes, but no multiplayer compatible unless all players have the same mod.

0. Installation
Replace the genie_x2.dat of GAME/DATA with the submod file.
1. Description
A submod for Expanding Fronts (1.4.2) that changes some units for more lore accurated models.
No gameplay changes.
The idea is replace the original concepts by SWGB for more accurate models using scenario-editor only unit that Expanding Fronts team has added, having generally the current canon more priority than legends.
Unit visual coherence is also a factor to be considered.
1. Known issues:
- This data mod may cause out of sync errors when playing EF multiplayer (except with Voobly, which is the best way to play MP).
- Some VFX could be not configured correctly.
- Some more unit could be replaced.
- Descriptions haven't been changed.
- Tech upgrades show old units.

- Adv Jedi Starfighter changed to ETA-2 Actis
- Hvy Trooper changed to Phase II
- Repeater Trooper changed to ARC Hvy Gunner
- Strike Mech changed to AT-RT
- Hvy Strike Mech changed to AT-XT
- Adv Bomber changed to Republic Y Wing
- Destroyer Mech changed to TX-130S
- Hvy Destroyer Mech changed to TX-130T
Galactic Empire
- Dark Trooper changed to Death Trooper
Rebel Alliance
- Attack Tank changed to Juggernaut

How is replacing the Rebel Alliance Attack Tank with the Republic Juggernaut lore accurate?
Both Rebels and Empire used A5 Juggernauts in canon.
Also A6 were used in legends by Rebels

The design of the original Assault Mech is clearly based on the Juggernaut, so based on that, I replaced for an existing model in canons/legends
Well that's very true I mean they do both look very similar but yeah other than that I really like the idea of this submod I also like how it's optional too like it's not officially apart of EF it's mostly for those who just want phase 2 clones as an upgrade and then right back to Phase 1 with the ARC Trooper heavy gunner but whatever it still works I'd say good job.
Yeah, the problem with that one is that I don't know how to model and animate, so having the stock EF models is what I thought that had more sense.

i just wanna say thank u. very interested in Expanding Fronts but i absolutely hate the Repeater Trooper's look. was disappointed to know that they didn't care much about fixing that issue.
Will there be changes for the other factions as well? if not, do you guys know how to do reskins on Genie Editor?

What changes based on scenario units you would like to see?
i would just want a reskin of all the Repeater Troopers. it's just so goofy seeing them lug around a tripod mounted blaster.
was hoping that they'd have maybe the walking animation of a regular trooper, like the First Order Repeater Troopers.
or better yet, make them look like Heavy Troopers but with Repeater Trooper firing rates
totally agree. i really like what the creator of order 64 mod did he gave a role for regular troopers, heavy troopers and repeater troops to make them all usable. id also like to see something used like this.

BTW there's a glitch with the Advanced Jedi Starfighter, when they get hit by enemy projectiles the default sprite with the yellow outline (it's shield form) shows up instead of the new one, any chance of fixing that?
EDIT: Expanding Fronts 1.5.0 released a while ago, will you update this addon to be compatible with the new version?

Tier 1 Juggernaut could be the one from the base game, which then upgrades into the A5
